At this point I agree with other posters that we just need to 100% end all aid, effort, and communication with anyone regarding Ukraine and Russia. The mineral rights would be nice, but at this point it's just not worth it. Let Russia and Europe fight over it.

Yeah, we're not signing a minerals deal granting them security while they are still at war with Russia, and thereby putting ourselves at war with Russia. That is not remotely how this will go down.

So, if we did sign a rare earth deal with Z, that means that US citizens would be in Ukraine digging… and they get 50% of what we make. That’s supposed to be the “security” for them…. the US folks being there.
If …Russia happens to “accidentally bomb” our workers…. there’s a good chance we get sucked in to that war… with our troops on the ground.

Well then russia eventually takes Ukraine.
But I believe DJT and Putin have talked this point over of course. Trump seems confident. What else is there to go on? Endless war. Europe handling this the Uks winning?
