+17% if you use the pre-1994 CPI formula. Forgive me if I don't celebrate.

You at 8.5 and that’s considered falling? From what ? If it was a 4.5 increase last year at this time then that 8.5 is on top of that . That’s just core numbers, when PPI is gathering steam he CPI does too. This is the second year of constant build up of numbers. Like a balloon it only take so much , till it doesn’t. You better better worried about the POP number

Agree 8.5% inflation, $4/gal gas. Im not that old and remember when 3.5% inflation was bad and gas only went over $2 during hurricanes.

Well, it is better than 9.1%... Imagine if you will an administration being happy about 8.5% CPI...

It's the old Dem's budget cuts propaganda. Propose a 10% increase in funding, Repubs say we can only do 8%. Dems on TV yelling Repubs killing people with their budget cuts. Until the idiots in this country realize Dems are using the same ideology the used car salesman uses to make the schmucks think they are getting a good deal all while getting fricked.

If someone is punching you in the face as hard as they can, then starts punching you a little less harder, do you say it’s good news.
