Please post your favorite segment or topic addressed in the SOTU.

Quite frankly, I think the NK defector moment is impossible to beat. Definitely teared up a bit. People in this country act like they have such a bad lot in life, it’s embarassing. Stories like that hopefully gave a lot of people some perspective. We have it great here.

I’m rather uninterested in domestic issues, so another highlight for me was when he said America stands with the PEOPLE of Iran.

The New Mexico officer and his wife adopting the addicts baby was also touching. He’s more of a man than I could hope to be.

I liked the "Americans are dreamers, too" line. That, to me, was the biggest "BOOM" of the night.

Hard to beat that photo.

It also has the poor little baby that had the heroin-addict Momma ... but not anymore.

I like all the examples so far.

I also love the optics of Gutierrez walking out after the USA chant started. Apparently, that's racist.

other than the heartwarming stories my favorite was the comparison of how it only took a year to build the Empire State building in 1930 but in 2018 takes 10 years to shake enough hands, kiss enough babies, and make enough deals to repave a county road.

telling tale of how bloated and broken the political machine is.

That was a big moment, I agree. Gives hope to those folks who live under that repressive regime.

It's funny too b/c the Iranians living in the US almost always call themselves Persians. So naturally, and not to embarrass them too much, I ask if Persia is near Iran

the shout out to the Cajun Navy was cool too.

But mainly because I was imagining that causing Kibbles (OT's enemy) to stand under the spout of her $9 box of white wine, chugging while whimpering.

The CBC showing their true colors and not even cracking a slight grin that black unemployment is at a historical low.

I really that wakes a lot of people up.

I thought the Steve Scalise moment was nice. It would be easy to overstate or exaggerate in the moment when coming up for words. I thought Trump did well.

I have been wondering about her reaction, too. I'm sure she is cuddled up with her emotional support peacock.

I'm sure she was LITERALLY crying because the CN brought back her PTSD
