You really want to know why Strzok, Paige and Priestap haven't been fired?

They are cooperating.

First of all, Comey threw Priestap under the bus in congressional testimony. Under oath Comney testified to congress that counterintelligence FBI investigation on the Trump team began in July 2016 and congress (Gang of 8) was not notified until March 2017. That’s an eight month period.

It is FBI practice to brief the White House (Obama), DNI (Jame Clapper) and the Gang of 8 (Nunez and Schiff) of all counterintelligence investigations quarterly. Comey only briefed the White House and DNI and avoided the Go8 for obvious reasons (they did not want Nunez to tip off Team Trump that they were under FBI surveillance).

Congresswoman Elise M. Stefanik asked Comey why Congress was not briefed on the counterintelligence investigation and Comey's response was, "Because of the sensitivity of the matter." Then she asked (paraphrasing) who made the decision to not brief congress. Comey then threw Bill Priestap under the bus and said under oath that it was Priestap's decision. Comey didn't refer to Priestap by name he only referred to him by title, Assistant Director of the FBI Counterintelligence Division.

I'm 1000% sure that pissed Priestap off.

That's why we haven't heard Priestap's name that much through this entire scandal. Priestap is cooperating with Horowitz and Huber.

Now Paige and Strzok are a bit easier. They are simply cooperating to save their jobs. The heat was put on them by releasing their text messages and they folded like cheap suits. They are spilling the beans to hold on to their careers. Whether or not that works for them we will just have to wait and see. However it's quite apparent that Paige and Strzok have made the calculation that it is better for them to cooperate.

Personal vendetta is far down the list of motivators. If they are cooperating it's because they know they're on the hook for criminal charges. But don't worry, Jeff Sessions is going to find a way to frick this up and reinstate them, I'm sure.

And their careers.

Those two combined are huge incentives unless you are already independently wealthy.

I say that and Priestap wife is loaded. So I think his motivation is more out of pride and is really pissed off that Comey threw him under the bus in congressional testimony.

Or because the FBI wants to keep them quiet.

The reason I don’t believe this is because the still have high security clearances. If they were cooperating, they could do so without keeping their clearance. They haven’t been fired because their boss doesn’t want them fired.

It's my understanding that all FBI agents have some level of security clearances. Without clearances they can't do their jobs. If they can't do their jobs then there is no reason to have them around.

Now the question is, what level and scope of clearances do Strzok and Paige currently have?

No one know that except Strzok, Paige and their bosses at the FBI and DOJ respectively, as it should be.

Is there any actual proof Priestap is cooperating or is this just speculation bc he probably didn’t like what Comey said in his testimony?

It's just speculation.

But use logic here. Piestap is the Assistant Director of the FBI Counterintelligence Division. That is the guy running the counterintelligence show. He should be a key figure in this entire investigation but we hear very very little about him. He was also McCabe's boss.

If you're not hearing much about the guy who was apparently head of the biggest spying scandal in U.S. history I have to come to the conclusion he is cooperating. It wouldn't also surprise me if he is a little pissed about McCabe going rouge. McCabe probably disobeyed Priestap and by-passed him and listened to Comey and Lynch to help illegally exonerate Hillary.

I heard that if you are working for the FBI you have to have the security clearance.

Right. At least some level of security clearance.

Stzok, Paige, etc... may or may not like Trump. They weren't near high enough to do anything without explicit instructions from someone above them.

By your logic, Sessions must be cooperating with Mueller. He's been constantly embarrassed, blamed and berated by his boss. It makes sense.

What about fear of reprocusions from the cabal driving them to seek refuge?

You think the govt is going to give them 24/7 security forever? Fear of the cabal is what keeps people in line. That's why there are so many mysterious deaths around the Dems and HRC.

Possible.
MAGA is a 12D chess master.
But as a life long conservative, who has been sold out by GOPe cucks for decades, I am doubtful.
