anti-vax people
Can you start by defining this... Do you mean people that think no one should get vaccinated OR people that do not think the vaccine is the right choice for them personally?
I supported Trump, still do...
Personally, I do not trust the government, especially in areas where things are rushed, have changed (complete 180's) multiple times, continue to change, etc...
When it comes to a vaccine that has been rushed, it might work for some but it doesn't work for me... Why do people like you have so much trouble accepting that?

Let me introduce you to an idea you obviously have never heard of:
nuance
[ noo-ahns, nyoo-, noo-ahns, nyoo-; French ny-ahns ]
noun, plural nu·anc·es [noo-ahn-siz, nyoo-, noo-ahn-siz, nyoo-; French ny-ahns].
1. a subtle difference or distinction in expression, meaning, response, etc.
2. a very slight difference or variation in color or tone.
You retards who pretend grey areas don't exist and thus are "right" and they are "wrong" are so tiresome and worn out.

The fact y’all are paralleling NIH to hail for this thread sort of proves its premise
Hoping/ believing the vaccine works is now a progressive filth political opinion

This shite right here. Most people I know are Trump guys and at the same time won’t get the vax. These 2 things aren’t mutually exclusive
It’s people who have lost trust in the government. How this has been political from day 1. Why have we not known the source of this? There is massive exaggeration and gaslighting. We can’t get straight answers from anyone. Shut downs have been political. Fauci and Bird say things that contradict their own websites. Why have they lied about certain medications helping? It’s been obvious for a long time the cdc bureaucrats are being lobbied (teachers Union, Democrats) to say certain things and walk back actual facts that they slip up and say, only to circle back a day or 2 later and reverse course on what they said.

I’m sure you’re a very independent thinker.
Clearly, by your standards, as a unvaccinated, two-time Trump voter, I am.

And we have another moron entering the fray. Look, i know it's hard to fathom, but one can be conservative or republican or whatever, and still have independent thought. We all aren't lemmings that are fed our talking points by the media, therefore, we have no independent thought.
And frankly, you guys could have started these threads months ago, but are just not realizing that "Trump created the vaccine"? How slow are you?
quote:
Can someone explain how Trump can claim responsibility for Operation Warp Speed but is yet not culpable in either the deaths you guys claim or the vaccine's failures?
Trump stated all throughout 2020, "I think you should get the vaccine, but that is a personal choice and we aren't mandating anything". Wow, Trump is leaving it up to the individual and letting them make their own choices. How novel an idea...
And, Trump/Biden, NEITHER CREATED THE VACCINE. Pfizer, Moderna, and J&J have created the vaccines. Trump just removed the red tape to get some sort of vaccine to the masses quickly. It was and is an emergency authorization vaccine. I have not taken the vaccine because of this. That, and i'm a relatively healthy person, and i'm pretty sure i've had Covid before.
So, now that i've thoroughly destroyed your "gotcha", anything else you care to discuss?

Not for me.
I hope it works splendidly for everyone that takes it.
Eta: you are right though. It makes more sense to pair stoneprog with NIH because stoneprog did this yesterday.
I fixed it.

I would say your thread shows that you're not very confident that the jab did you any good.
Why would any of this matter to you? You got the jab, you're safe.

This is probably one of the only places on the internet where like half the people are genuinely hoping the vaccine is a failure or has a severe side effect or something
which is weird
you can be anti-government overreach without literally hoping and wishing against human progress

Not really. I hope it works. The goal was to open without restrictions throughout the country though. That clearly has not happened because we have Democrats in control. Nevermind that anyone can get the vaccine if they want it. That doesn't matter to them at all. It's no longer about bringing us back to normal. It's now about control.
And the vaccine clearly is too risky for children under the age of 20. I don't know how people look at the numbers and come to any other conclusion.

It should be people’s choice and it should not be a big deal when they get sick with COVID after not getting the shot. Again, their choice. The people here outright rooting for it to fail are retarded.
You’re not conservative enough for these folks, mate
Simply stating there are jackasses on both sides of the political aisle makes you a communist to the majority of the posters.
Simply stating that they have become what they hate, a mirror image of the left. Slaves to their ideology of anti-leftism

Trump cut red tape and provided funding so that a vaccine could be created. He didn't throw on a lab coat and produce the thing himself. He put trust in the experts.
The expectation was that the FDA, CDC, and NIH would operate with a First, do no harm, mentality, as is the essence of the Hippocratic Oath. Do you think Trump ordered them to create a vaccine that was ineffective and ordered them to conceal the data and censor anyone speaking out against it? Or, do you think he expected them to proceed when they were confident in their product?
Let's not even talk about EVERYONE shutting him down over Hydroxychloroquine.
By your rationale President Reagan is responsible for the Challenger explosion because his administration funded NASA.

The guy whose entire schitck on this board is making fun of soys and mask nazis is now filth for recognizing the obvious irrationality of the prevailing board opinion of covid vaccines

Ok, this is pretty much where I am but I am not really anti-government... I am in the corner of government pretty much fricks up everything it touches and it really fricks up things that are rushed...
I wish this vaccine was 100% effective, without any side effects and everyone in this world could take it... At that point, Covid goes away right?

Hey man, why dont you post a link to one post on this board where people are actively hoping for the vaccine to fail and kill who knows how many people? My bet is that you cannot.

Really no point in vaccinating anyone under 30 unless they’re fat as frick or have some other shite going on.
I know a girl who’s going to get her baby vaccinated as soon as it’s authorized for use in kids at least 6 months old.
That is insanity.
