Google diversity and quotas in academia.

Does ‘diversity’ make us stronger? You sound like a Biden or Kamala voter with all this bullshite. This topic is pretty cut and dry.

Hey! You're 3 for 3! See, this is what's called a red herring. One could look at DEI policies from universities as a whole but the data would be incredibly skewed if we included natural US citizens when the discussion was regarding students on work visas only.

Yes, you did. You got big mad at someone pushing back on your bullshite narrative. You are angry on a message forum.

You really love making assumptions dontcha? Me making fun of you and being big mad are not the same thing. I gave you every opportunity to refute my arguments and all you provided was anecdotal evidence and one logical fallacy after another.

I'd imagine he's not talking about illegals who go to school once here and then desire to stay.

It’s not about legal or illegal. It’s about the ridiculousness of offering citizenship to international college graduates automatically when the reason for the green card system is to promote bringing in skills that do no already exist here. By changing this law, you are hurting opportunities for Americans as a whole and simply making like easier for big corporations.

Again, Trump deserves flack on this stupidity. He is a moron when it comes to this stuff.

Legal permanent residence should require more than completion of a college degree in the US seeing the variable quality of students that come in and programs that exist.

Imagine a kid from a foreign country simply buying their way into US citizenship by going to University of Phoenix.

You would worsen the college system even more and raise costs pm everyone as universities raise their tuition and accept more international students over Americans to make more money.

Again, stupid approach to a problem that doesn’t exist.

Yeah, the OP is pretty clear here. If we could stick to topics these threads wouldnt need to be 15 pages.

OP spoke of green cards though, not citizenship. These student visas aren't for basket weaving at the Juco of western Kansas. It's not like people can with dogshite grades and no real productive field of study can just get a student visa to go to BRCC.

I agree that we should keep it as a guest worker program, because jobs are going to become hard to find when the AI boom kicks in.

Just stop gap until we start laying people off.

Didn't you just get done lecturing people about derailing the thread? Ronricks came in here cursing at and calling people idiots and then got trounced by multiple posters with a shred of critical thinking and logic. He deserves what he got

I gave him real world examples. He’s talking about who I date. Who’s mad in that scenario? It would be like if I dragged you admitting to living in an 800 sqft cuck box into this discussion. Why even do that? That sad embarrassing fact might be relevant to other discussions but not this one so I didn’t try to hijack the thread to cover up for a ridiculous position like he has. He’s trying to derail the conversation as a defense mechanism. I didn’t do that he did. Sorry.

Deal with the DEI Diploma Mills ( low to no standards) and we can talk.

Haha, you gave me a few anecdotal pieces of some other folks' opinions and presented them as proof.

That argument would hold water if I didn't make direct arguments to refute yours and only made fun of your "dating" history. Fortunately for me, I worked efficiently and managed to crush your poorly thought out, sloppy arguments and still had time to make fun of you as well.

I'm about to hit the gym. I look forward to the replies this thread gets while i'm gone.
