"realigning voting districts to favor one party seems like the kind of thing maga would cry and cry and cry about if it went the other way"
Correcting a long overdue mistake

It sure would be embarrassing for a non-gay retard if his team couldn’t do the same exact same thing because it had already been done…
Luckily for you, you are a pure blood gay retard and remain unscathed

But I will say it: I opposed the communists doing it, and I oppose this
give Memphis its own district

So far what has drawing Gerrymandered districts to favor black candidates predominately got the people of places like Memphis, St. Louis, Cleveland and Birmingham?
Posted on 5/6/26 at 8:59 pm to Kafka
Play the communists game or deal with communist results
Nobody particularly likes gerrymandering. But imagine a single house seat advantage for Dems that lands them the trifecta. Imagine what they would do after killing the filibuster
Take the absolute worst of dem policy and make it national law. It would be catastrophic.
You cannot give them an inch. Ever.

Not gonna lie, I live here and hate the Dem party, but cutting Memphis into 3 parts is sketchy.
I live here as well and in a burb of Memphis.
I have no issue with it at all.

There's about to be no black dems in the House.

these districts are tied together geographically and culturally, they should have unified representation
and to show how much I believe that, I say the MS Delta should stay 1 district, even though it means getting the unspeakable bennie thompson

Why? Have you not seen what the leadership of Memphis has done to this city over the last 30-40 years?
Did you know the state just took over the Memphis school district because the school board is so fricking corrupt?
Posted on 5/6/26 at 9:06 pm to Kafka
But the Bennie Thompson Mississippi district isn’t just the Delta. It extends into Hinds County and the Jackson metro area. It was explicitly drawn based on race and nothing else.

Beauxduke, the voting districts of each state look like a preschooler went to work with a blue & red marker. Democrats are directly and solely responsible for these gerrymandered districts. Many of these districts were created (by Democrats) based on nothing more than the racial makeup of certain areas, which is RACIST. Since you aren’t a racist, I know deep down you long for the Republicans to fix the racist mistakes of the Democrats. I mean, you’re not a racist, are you?

What has Benny Thompson or Steve cohen done for their districts?
Name one thing.
What has Raphael Warnock done? Maxine Waters, Hakeem Jefferies?

So shitty representation that is culturally appropriate wins over culturally inappropriate representation that is good

It’s necessary to keep you fruits from packing the court unfortunately.
Your politicians keep saying this is war so, let’s dance.

The new Mississippi districts are going to be much more regionally focused.
