I remember that. Just think of the reaction if Trump had done something like that.

No.

She was a close political ally and "the vote" was her voting as Walz wanted her to vote.

Are you sure about that? He wanted her to vote with the Republicans in order to pass the bill which cut off the aid? You know that her vote was the deciding vote, right?

That seems strange.

PS - You didn't answer my question in another thread. Are you a lawyer?

I dont necessarily think Walz wanted someone murdered because I think he is far to big of a pussy to see something like that thru but I do believe his devout worshipping of everything progressive could lead to that

You have it nailed right here^^^^^

I think the mental fragility and mental instability of the vast majority of Democratic Socialists is what makes them credibly dangerous.

Walz is dysfunctional as hell. Definitely some mental issues with that loon.

I am sure about the circumstances of the vote. Minnesota requires a balanced budget. Walz convinced 1 Democrat in the House (Hortman) and 4 Democrats in the Senate to vote for the bill as a means of balancing the budget. None of the Democrats, including Walz, were happy about it, but it was necessary. She was the deciding vote in the House.

Sorry, I missed your question re being a lawyer. I used to be, then worked in Oil & Gas title stuff, and found my highest calling in a lay ministry.

Walz was definitely aware of the hit, at an absolute minimum.

We had a surplus when Tampon was elected. He raised taxes constantly and we are broke. Somalia got it all.

Wow, very impressive. Glad you "promoted" yourself from being a lawyer. This board has made me wary of them.

Prayers for your ministry. It's the highest calling, imo.

Rooski, I respect Scott Jensen, the State Senator who ran against Walz. Does ANY Republican have a chance to beat Walz?

Thanks for the prayers and kind words. You SHOULD be wary of lawyers!

Having a business man as President in Trump is much better than having a lawyer. Lawyers can get bogged down in process and abstraction rather than results and common sense. I think you see that play out here. I certainly am occasionally guilty of being too much of a lawyer here. Feel free to call me out about that.

Amen. Those "professional politicians," many of whom are lawyers, have really let us down. A businessman like Trump just wants to solve the problem, whatever it may be. He's a political outsider, too, which I have come to believe is practically essential.

Legal culpability? Not unless there is more evidence.

Did his actions indirectly lead to an assassin putting her on a hit list? Likely. That was established fairly early that the assassin’s writing claimed he did it for Walz. The assassins wife worked for Walz in office with him, and he was on a couple citizen committees Walz oversaw.
