Yale's campus newspaper is facing backlash for censoring pro-Israel columnist Sahar Tartak by removing references to Hamas terrorists beheading men and raping women. The Yale Daily News last week published a correction to an October 12 article by sophomore Sarah Tartik, titled 'Is Yalies4Palestine a hate group?'

'Editor's note, correction, Oct. 25: This column has been edited to remove unsubstantiated claims that Hamas sexually abused women and beheaded men,' the statement at the bottom of the article read.

Interesting when you consider the endowments and faculty of these institutions.

Is there a time when Yale isn't involved in some sort of censorship?

FIRE ranks 248 universities with regard to free speech.

Here is a comparison of SEC, Ivy, Elite

On this list below, 8 of the top 10 are SEC.

Harvard 248

*Auburn 2

So a high ranking on FIRE means they're more free speech.

Seems this list is inverted. Auburn should be at the top, not the bottom.

I started at the bottom because the topic was about Yale and they are 234 out of 248. So the list is going from worst to best.

Side note - Harvard's score was six standard deviations below the national average. Their true score was a negative value. That place should be shut down.

Higher the number rating, the more the school sensors it's staff and student body. Lower the rating (smaller number) means the campus is allowed to speak freely.

I don’t personally understand the hate towards Jewish people. Never have but one thing is certain. They have some self detrimental behavior by their own supporters that push ideals in America that ultimately bring them hate and they don’t even really try to stop It.. they’ll still get huge endowments at these universities, they’ll still push for more liberal inclusive policies, some of which are in direct conflict with their very existence..

That’s Milton Friedman’s alma mater and is one of the premier economics departments in the country… Econ students are typically a different breed and when you study all manner of economics… you inevitably find out that communism doesn’t work.

This is a staple in Jewish history, collectively pursuing strategies that offer a short term benefit, but which ultimately blow up in their face.

The open border policies that were are living with today, and the post World War Two diversity push, which has completely transformed the country, it doesn’t exist without the Jewish lobby.

If you’re a numerically small minority, open borders and mass immigration make sense, because it allows you to fracture the cultural and ethnic makeup of the country. You become one of several minorities, in what is ultimately a minority country. And at that point, playing divide and conquer, is much easier. And ideally no one has the power or the physical numbers to pose a threat to you. It’s fear driven behavior, but it’s also just ruthless tribal politics.

The problem here, as you point out, is that it ultimately makes the Jewish community less safe, our ever growing Muslim population, which was brought in to diversify the country, and reduce the relative number and power of Americans, really don’t like them, and have no illusions about their behavior.

Look football rankings. Higher the number, the crappier the school.
