Of course I would, but it's probably worth noting that I am atheist.

I would vote for a conservative Christian over a liberal atheist though.

Yes, and I'm a professing Christian.

It all depends on the person's past. The reason We have politicians identifying themselves as Christian is the nations moral values (used too) parallel Christian values.

As the years roll by I see constant change away from the moral values of our parents. That change has given rise to leftist candidates like obama and killary.

I believe I already answered that question. Just because you don't vote FOR someone doesn't mean you MUST vote for the other choices.

I guess we're just really different because I would, and have voted, for Christians. I couldn't care less about religion as long as they're the best qualified for the job.

Christianity is not something you "do." That is religion. Christianity is something one receives.
If you haven't received it you are trying to understand it from the outside. You can't do that.
Every character in Bible stories are messed up people. We're ALL messed up. Jesus came for the messed up. People are the reason for the season.

Religion is advice or a road map on what you need to do to work your way to God and find his approval.
Christianity is the opposite. While God saw nobody can live the perfect life required to meet His holiness He sent his Son, Jesus. Out of God's Love, Mercy, and Grace he met us when we could not meet Him. You gotta receive it to believe it. IT's FREE!

Indeed. Paul MURDERED Christians, & went on to write almost 1/2 the New Testament.

Probably. Religion is easily our most important invention.

I seriously doubt that many of us have ever voted for an actual believer...certainly not since Jimmy Carter (and even that is questionable). Y'all simply claim to believe....your actions speak much louder than your words...and if you truly believed you couldn't behave the way you do now.

That is a good thing...actually believing in God leads people to do shite like strapping a bomb to their arse and walking into a crowded market place and detonating...in other words doing all sorts of insane shite

Nope. Never done anything like this, contemplated doing anything like this or am I instructed from the Bible to do anything like this. But I understand that the hyperbole makes your point sound more legitimate.

What is it in my behavior that would lead you to believe that I don't believe? Behavior does not equate to whether or not one believes in Jesus. We are all fallen. Me and you.

I didn't suggest you or anyone like you have done any such thing...y'all are western Christians...y'all only believe when it is convenient...but deep in your hearts you know better. The folks who are true believers would never question a voice in their head that tells them to strap a bomb to themselves...they obey. Most western Crhistians would seek help from a scientist if they started hearing such shite OR if their preacher stood up and started suggesting such shite they would not only immediately find a preacher who said shite they agreed with they would encourage others to do so also....a true believer is insane and stupid and would sit there and become indoctrinated...we do have those in the western world of christianity but they are few and far between because western civilization only asks that we pretend to believe...where other cultures will lop your head off if you don't....

I don't know you personally so I can't say...but if a preacher you had been listening to for years suggested that God wanted you to drive an airplane into a building OR you heard a voice inside your own head to do something along those lines would you comply? If so you are a true believer...if not you ain't....simple as that. You are only pretending to believe.

Do you commit any sort of sin? Take a look around at the number of people in bars and who are overweight in the United States and the western world...take a look at the people who are having sex outside of the confines of marriage...those people are only pretending to believe because it is convenient...they aren't true believers because they ain't fricking insane...go to a local bar full of Christians and suggest to them that God wants them to strap a bomb to their arse and blow up an abortion clinic...you will probably find a bunch of people who would say it was a good idea but they have plans later on and going to prison ain't in 'em....Thank goodness we are not plagued with more than a smattering of true believers and the rest of y'all are just pretending....

Jesus turned water into wine and drank wine at the Last Supper. Not something He would have done if drinking were a sin.

???

Has more to do with an economy (shift to sedentary jobs) and diet (hyper processed foods) that don't match our physiology. Humans worked the fields for most of recorded history and didn't have long term food surpluses, so our bodies began storing for lean times.

I only weigh 150 so I'm not making excuses for myself.

Convenient in what way?

This might be the dumbest thing I've ever read on this board and that's saying a lot. Jesus expressly told His followers NOT to use violence. If a preacher said God wanted us to have a devil's threesome, everyone in the audience would know he was a fake right away. Same if a preacher told us to fly a plane into a building.

God can use the godless for good. I would vote for anyone who I believe would preserve and defend our freedoms.

Your entire logic is wrong because you assume that Jehoveh God and Allah are the same God. They are not.
