I understand you're an old dude and recall 1986. My post was to you and more general at the same time.

I am pro-wall and pro-Amnesty. Seen too many of them bust their tails in tobacco and produce fields over the past 30 years to not deeply appreciate them.

Which is why they'd vote nearly unanimously against my proposal.

Put their asses on record as being completely unreasonable!

No, idiot mine came here from Ireland, legally. They did not need birthright citizenship because they were already citizens. They also paid fricking taxes. Move on with this shite.

Did they bust their tails to the tax office?

This has been the keystone of my "amnesty if . . . . " stance for years now - only I have always wanted it to be at least 20 years.

All other provisions you stated are also great, but none are deal-breakers but the 'no vote' one.

Oh - i need to add that there must be some sort of ASSIMILATION requirement - learn English and become AMERICANs, not just 'residents' in their own cultural enclaves.

I look at it the other way. I would drop any concern over the wall if the Dems:

1. dropped birthright citizenship.

2. Dropped Drivers licenses for illegals

3. Approved photo voter ID laws nationwide.

4. Fast tracked deportations for those accused of a crime

This too - my major - perhaps ONLY - concern is that these illegal aliens should NEVER be allowed to vote as a bargaining tool. NOPE NOPE NOPE

How many hundreds of generations would a family line have to go through to become citizens?

A small part of 1 generation. A process already exists to become a citizen. Did you not know that??

Not only a non sequitur, but a nonsense non sequitur.

That's because their sole motivation is to make them into VOTERs as soon as possible by any means necessary.

There is NO OTHER motive that can be defended - and they are ashamed of the only one they can defend.

Why do you want to reward criminals? Is it because they're brown? Is it because you're a white guilt faget?

So what?
Untold millions of US citizens also bust their tails for decades without any sign of ever being "deeply appreciated".
