I can tell you as far as most everyone I know in California goes, sweeping immigration raids and deep spending cuts are top priorities for them and why they voted for Trump... because that's what he campaigned on doing.

They just want an America that’s diametrically opposed to what most on the right or even democrats from 30 years ago wouldve wanted.
There is no compromise possible because what they want is not possible in a nation still governed by traditional American values and constitutional rights.
