SIAP-
The fact nobody can get a straight answer from any reliable source tells you all you need to know.

That’s a very rosy scenario linking multiple chains of events that at best is decades in the future.
It's kind of sad that so many think this is a rosy scenario, but at the same time they lament the open border, shitty/woke schools, politically active big business, and tens of millions of able-bodied Americans on government dole.

Even assuming that comes to fruition, you have the foreign STEM degrees going somewhere else. What prevents them from developing the competing product(s) to our American ones?
Nothing, but why would that be a bad thing? It's precisely how things should be and would benefit everybody everywhere.
You don't think America could compete?

the 65k cap is complete bullshite. They grant 2-3x that many NEW visas each year.
Possibly related to the uncapped H1Bs that are given to foreign students who complete a masters here.

While hilarious, it's not shocking to see a hoard of "America First" MAGA sycophants that have spent 8 years (rightfully) screaming for the wall to be completed and hating on all the truly weak arguments from the Left for the open border now switch sides and fully endorse the Left's narrative because Trump flip flopped on H1Bs.

Then they are no longer H1B visa holders. They are illegal aliens ineligible for work.
Yes, we should eliminate the H1B loophole for entry. Especially for nonskilled labor.
No, they are not all illegal aliens.

How is it benefiting everyone everywhere? Are you talking about the United States, Europe, the world?
We don’t lead in every industry worldwide, and if we don’t allow in talented workers we might not lead in others.
Here’s a simple analogy that illustrates why your argument fails. Use LSU and athletes. Why doesn’t LSU just recruit from LA for all sports? Wouldn’t the LA high school athletes benefit from athletic scholarships to LSU?

Foreign students completing MS/PhD don't automatically get an H1B. That is a false statement.
Foreign students who start working for a cap-exempt employer, like an university, get cap-exempt H1Bs.
Foreign students completing MS/PhD do get OPT work-permits. Maybe you are confusing that with H1B.

The advanced degree exemption is an exemption from the H-1B cap for beneficiaries who have earned a U.S. master's degree or higher and is available until the number of beneficiaries who are exempt on this basis exceeds 20,000. Congress set the current annual regular cap for the H-1B category at 65,000.
Nothing I said was incorrect.

No. You found the guy who isn't a racist bigot clown being manipulated by the media to attack LEGAL immigrants and give the media a new narrative to shut down Trump's agenda.

the formula has been to take over and jack the prices way up because people are willing to pay more for convenience. This causes companies in general to jack up their prices because they now know they can get away with it.
And that's how you get $2.35 40oz Sprites.
Cry me a river.

Quantify them from what time frame? From inception? Probably in the millions over the past 20 years.

Thank you for the table...why are the numbers so much higher than the theoretical limits?

You don't think employers would force a come to jesus moment with politicians, and those politicians would start getting at least a little serious about education? It's not like you're arguing that Americans are too stupid to earn STEM degrees, right?

The main point was that they're not here doing high IQ tech jobs
Also, do you have any numbers? Indians (specifically Gujaratis) have been running crappy motels here since the early 70s - particularly after a lot of them fled Idi Amin.
Also, any business ownership is difficult. They're not just "doing" the "low IQ" job of working at convenience stores. They're actually owning/running them. You even said it yourself when you blamed them for being free marketeers and pushing prices.

The point you keep missing is that it isn't the best and brightest, over the last 5 years or the last 30. Repeated assertions that it is by Musk and others is dishonest.
So yeah, eye on the ball, smarmy clown.
