Yep. No one who genuinely wants small government would be posting thousands of times about how DOGE and Trump "circumventing" Congress is a violation of everything decent and good in the world

Give me a complete list of all of your "national security" products you want the US government to subsidize, first.

Proven right?

The country has been rotting from the inside for decades. Car prices have outpaced income growth by 50%. Home prices have outpaced income growth by over 100%. College tuition costs exponentially more.

The US being a sucker in global trade has done nothing by destroy middle class jobs, the small towns people resided in, rack up national debt, and build up the economies of rivals who pose national security threats now

Those remarks were far from actual ad hominem.

Unless, as usual, you’re using your own meanings for everything you say. Now that was more of ad hominem right there. Lol

They've shifted the discussion from the topic to personal attacks on me.

That's a sign of raising their white flags.

I did not personally attack you at all. I said you have posted thousands of times disparaging DOGE and Trump, routinely saying they are violating the law. I did not call you names

That is factual, your post history is public.

Due to government intervention. Very little to do with trade.

Note: I'm consistently against government intervention in the markets.

That wasn't "pissy"

I just understand this "national security" argument and it's pointless unless you lay it all out (to avoid the moving target tactic MAGA loves so much).

Trump has prioritized de-regulating since his first term

No rate change from Obama (prior to Covid and his reckless spending)

He promoted the same policies that inflated these goods

I guess it would be nice to manufacture our own antibiotics in a quote National Crises and not depend on a Communist Country. That hates our way of life. But you know.

I was hoping he misspoke instead of creating a digression, as the conversation was on spending creating the inflationary pressure.

So that's it? No steel, munitions, microchips? Just antibiotics?

Il agree with you on the COVID spending being reckless. Massie was right to stand up to the stimmies.

Obama let gov agencies do a shitload of rule making, as did Biden. Trump requires regulations to be cut before adding new ones.

Trump also cut taxes. So while national debt was going up, at least take home pay went up. What we cannot do is have take home pay stagnate or decrease while debt increases.
