I think what research is beginning to show, is that how people make voting decisions is more often than not, not like the robotic process orientated citizens reading down a ballot and weighing the individual pros and cons of policy and candidates that the democratic ideal tells itself.
Yesterday when I voted I was looking at the candidates and I pretty much knew nothing about any of them but I didn't vote for one specifically because they had an Italian last name

He seems to think these candidates actually do what they campaign on...then the one candidate who has done as much as he can with the garbage senate, he has a problem with. Pretty sure he was a Bernie/Hillary supporter given he got off on defending lord Gore and global warmi...errr, climate change. Pretty much a lib...and a bag.

It's almost like our value systems are so utterly different that we are doing a disservice to one another by trying to compete for power within the same polity.
If the right to vote were expanded to seven year olds … its policies would most definitely reflect the ‘legitimate concerns’ of children to have ‘adequate’ and ‘equal’ access to ‘free’ french fries, lemonade and videos.
funded education and research, however, most current teachers and intellectuals would be unemployed or their income would fall to a small fraction of its present level. Instead of researching the syntax of Ebonics, the love life of mosquitoes, or the relationship between poverty and crime for $100 grand a year, they would research the science of potato growing or the technology of gas pump operation for $20 grand.
What is true, just, and beautiful is not determined by popular vote. The masses everywhere are ignorant, short-sighted, motivated by envy, and easy to fool. Democratic politicians must appeal to these masses in order to be elected. Whoever is the best demagogue will win. Almost by necessity, then, democracy will lead to the perversion of truth, justice and beauty.
Democracy has nothing to do with freedom. Democracy is a soft variant of communism, and rarely in the history of ideas has it been taken for anything else.
It is states that are responsible for the deaths of hundreds of millions of people and immeasurable destruction in the 20th century alone. Compared to that, the victims of private crimes are almost negligible.
Egalitarianism, in every form and shape, is incompatible with the idea of private property.
In a covenant founded for the purpose of protecting family and kin, there can be no tolerance toward those habitually promoting life-styles incompatible with this goal. They – the advocates of alternative, non-family and kin-centred lifestyles such as, for instance, individual hedonism, parasitism, nature-environment worship, homosexuality, or communism – will have to be physically removed from society, too, if one is to maintain a libertarian order. (Democracy the God that failed).

But that would allow tens of millions of women to vote and this board isn't ok with that.

Besides the fact that owning a car or a smart phone has the same rights as real estate. It's all considered property.
So who in America doesn't own property?

The dregs of society. Welfare queens and trailer park/ghetto kings.
I'm kind of with you and kind of against you. Shaniqua from the ghetto or Bessie Mae from the trailer park, living off of generational welfare and popping out babies every 18 months shouldn't be allowed to vote.
Dominique and Jennifer, who've done everything in life to get ahead and don't rely on the government to support them, instead choosing to have a career or stay at home with their children, having a significant other who makes enough money for them to live without government assistance should be able to vote. These tend to be stable families who own property and pay taxes every year.
Those who rely on the government shouldn't have a say in the government. They'll never vote against their own welfare subsidies.

Just having this discussion the other day after his masterpiece speech here: YouTube: libertarianism and the alt right
He is absolutely the greatest living libertarian, and in my mind the purest, most surgically logical of all time (which is a credit, not a slight, on Rothbard).

Maybe men shouldn't have the right to vote.
They'll either vote at the ballot box or with violence. You choose.
Women voting is fatal for civilization.
