Politics aside, it's a fact that Kubota tractors are superior to John Deere's by quite a significant margin. Hell, even the Mahindra's are a better deal when you consider the costs.

John Deere doesn't put the pride into their products like they used to long ago, they build them as cheaply as possible at the expense of quality. I used to work at one of their plants and have seen it for myself

The Korean made tractors, Kioti, Tym (Branson) and LS are eating up the market now. You can have a 65 hp cab air luxury tractor for HALF PRICE of the JD and Kubotas. And the Korean engines are awesome.

Right to repair lawsuit…..

I hate dealing with JD engines.

We’ve used kubota the last 20 years. They’ve been great.

Most of the construction equipment was dog shite except the excavators but now Hitachi has pulled out and Deere is way behind on that line too. The quality control in Iowa sucks so brand new equipment breaks down. Then they did away with all the knowledgeable field support in favor of college grad women and Nancy-boys.

The green equipment is way overpriced and, again, the folks in Iowa suck at producing quality. Nothing runs like a Deere owner heading straight back to his dealership to raise hell

I sell a S Korean brand and we kick the US products asses. Cat, Deere and Case are to equipment what GM, Ford and Dodge are to automobiles, overpriced and union-made junk

Massey makes a good product. If they could build up their dealer support here in the US they could contend with the big dogs.
I agree. I got extremely lucky to have 2 good dealers nearby, which, as you know, is the most important factor to take into consideration.

Can't go wrong with a kubota. I'm looking hard at some of their smaller construction equipment when I get ready to replace our current fleet of machines in the sizes they make. Their high-flow track loaders continue to impress with every new model.

Plenty of bias from me. I happily resigned from that circus of a JD dealer operating in Louisiana. 80-90% of what JD sells is used to earn a living and neither that dealer or JD respects the clients enough to make sure the right and best equipment is provided

I work for a company that is known to be conservative and we had “online drag bingo” a couple weeks ago.

Another company that doesn’t know its customers. I have two but no more in the future.

I own 32 John Deere tractors. Can’t afford to replace them so I’ll have to continue to use JD for parts/service

Also I use JD financial farm plan stuff that all ag vendors accept and just put a 24k dollar well we had drilled on it through Chicot irrigation

Looks like in the future I’ll be buying red or orange when I want new tractors. Though I hate all new tractors due to the emission EPA regs.

Might just start buying restored older tractors

How hard is it to find a qualified CEO who isn't a woke retard?

Who's next, Wrangler (owned by Kontoor brands, ticker KTB)?!

I have a JD backhoe 310J and it’s throwing bullshite codes that don’t let you unlock the parking brake until you get a service guy to come fix it and clear the codes.

I fixed it yesterday, took the instrument panel off and found that the way it works is when computer throws a code it cuts off power supply to parking brake switch. So I ran a direct wire from the parking switch to the key switch, now it works fine no matter what codes the ECM throws

Had a JD CTS combine back in the day. Tried to wire a CB radio to a hotwire in the cap. Found the hot wire, but when you cue the mic the unloading auger would come out.

Mahindra is shite quality.

I still have a few Long Farmtracs. How those pieces of crap are still running I have no idea.

CNH owns Case and New Holland and are deep in the ESG woke crap. Pretty much any multinational corporation will be these days. About the only way you can really protest is buy used models old enough to have aftermarket parts available.

Something I have wondered for a while; Wouldn't fully rebuilding an older, pre emission/electronics tractor be cost effective or are the newer ones that much better on fuel? The GPS stuff? The implements need the computer crap to operate them?

Some railroads are doing this with older locomotives because the new ones are more expensive to maintain/operate because of the emissions bullshite.
