Funny how nobody wanted Jones. Not Biden for AG, yet Jones was hoping his name would get drawn out of the hat. Does Jones renounce his CNN gig for a swing at getting a Custer like massacre in Alabama again? Or does Jones sit back and collect his income by telling lies.

I think he knows he has no chance of being elected senator from Alabama again.

He will bide his time.

The big question regarding the AL senate seat is does AL replace a deep state GOPe henchman with an America First patriot or does the deep state and GOPe political apparatus anoint a successor.

Does Doug Jones run again for the Senate in AL or keep his gravy train with CNN?

It was a question.

Jones' Senate win was about as fluky as Eli Mannings Superbowl win.

Catch up ....

Richard Shelby is retiring in Alabama as the senior Senator.

Doug Jones was defeated by Tommy Tubberville by over 28 points. Democrat defeated by a Republican.

Doug Jones was rejected by the Biden Admin for AG.

Doug Jones will be a commentator for CNN.

Will Doug Jones run again in the hope that all Republicans suddenly leave the state?

Giving Jones the opportunity to leave CNN to run.

Eli won two of them. Don't tempt fate.

I bet Sessions runs again

But I hope you Baws elect Mo Brooks this time. He’s bright and would be perfect.

Still inexplicable to me that y’all ended up with Roy Moore v. a dorky Abortions dude.

Then again, I live in Louisiana so I cast no stones

Shelby brings more pork than any other Republican in congress.

You think BRAC goes the way it did without him? Dude turned Huntsville into the premier economy in the state.

He’s the ultimate RINO but everyone in Alabama should at least appreciate what he did for the state from a fiscal standpoint.

I can appreciate what he did for the State but don't act like that he hasn't benefitted significantly and padded his own pockets in the process... Dude is swampy as they come...

We made a huge mistake to start with electing Doug Jones over Roy Moore. You could have counted on Moore's vote come impeachment time, and he would not have sold us out like Shelby very well might. Say what you will about Moore, you knew where he stood.

Yeah, the Elf might take another look at it, and I hope he does so we can kick his swampy arse again.I'd vote for Moore over Sessions if it came to that in a second.

Relative to what I expect the field to be, Sessions may be the least swampy option of the bunch. Shelby was a pure globalist DC pork monster. They aren't going to let anything different replace him.

Who the frick would down vote this?! This is SPOT ON! Will the money and corruption put another member of the cabal into power, or do we get a true America First patriot? Without question that is on every Establishment, Libtard, and Patriot’s mind, and the result will have massive repercussions

I agree with Wednesday... Mo Brooks.

AL will definitely not see the amount of pork coming into the state when Shelby retires. I foresee Space command staying in CO.

I wonder if one of AL’s other congressmen go for it (Adderholt maybe). Sessions needs to retire in Mobile and leave politics.

If Shelby votes for impeachment.... his legacy in AL will be destroyed. AL is MAGA through and through. Im so thankful I live in such a red state.

Now.... the AL legislature needs to vote to make AL a sanctuary state for 2A.

It was a perfect storm of stupid.

Bentley - a bumbling, corrupt fool - appointed Luther Strange to Session's seat, who at the time was actually in charge of investigating him. Nothing fishy there.

Strange and his establishment PACs spent all their money attacking and smearing Brooks. After he was successfully eliminated, they didn't count on how unpopular Strange was. Moore can always count on an easy 30-40% in this state and a LOT stayed home.

When he secured the nomination, the smear campaign on Moore began. He's already disliked by a fair number on both sides of the aisle, so they readily bought it. Thus, Doug Jones. I don't think that set of circumstances will repeat, but I fully expect the same establishment money to blitzkrieg Brooks from the opening gun. They do NOT want a real conservative in that seat.
