This has to be red pilling the hell out of all the fence sitters and middle of the road but "non-npc" types. NPCs are lost and completely hopeless, but only make up 25-30% if the population. But until we can reach the 60-70% of real Americans, we cant make the real change that needs to take place for a revival.

If the the feds really do crack down on Musk. This has to wake people up to the corruption in this government and the existence of the deep state. And once someone enters that rabbit hole, there is no getting out.

Also, if the feds go after Musk, he strikes me as the kind of guy who gets a rise out of something like that and welcomes the challenge, only compounding his enemies problems.

Most people know or at least sense that something is horribly wrong. That thing is a globalist takeover of our country. Getting people to admit it, and admit they were fooled for so long is the hard part. People don’t want to believe it. They can’t, because it will shatter their world view. It’s not fun re-examining all the lies we were told. But, it has to happen. People need to grow the frick up and be adults and face this problem head on

After what has happened to President Trump, since 2015, people already know how bad government, msm, and big tech are. Musk is just another nail in the coffin.

Will people vote for conservatives?

MAGA conservatives?

We’ll see.

Watching the liberal talking heads on CNBC do mental gymnastics on this was entertaining today.

This is the best part of any post I've read in a very long time. Thank you.

I think the social media censorship woke a lot of people up. I think the globalists overplayed their hand a bit. At the least, they galvanized and solidified those that were already awake and pushed a lot of fence sitters over the fence.

If he has the stomach for it he has already won. He has Twitter bent over and can eventually aquire them. The question is will they make it easy or hard? So far they are signaling they will not let him take it without a fight, but again he can take it if he wants too.

Dear God.

You can believe this until the dawn of time, pray for it, hope for it, pine for it. But, for 70+% of the people, if it’s not reported by the mainstream media, and not allowed to be discussed on social media, it never happened.

Well said, when the Saudi prince is controlling what an American company does it is telling. Elon and Trump have pulled the covers off of the sham America has become.

It was beyond obvious that self-described progressives would eventually regret hounding people like Mark Zuckerberg to start getting into the editorial business, and that pushing Silicon Valley to take a bigger interest in controlling speech was flirting with disaster. Of course they would someday wake up to find these companies owned by people less sympathetic to their niche political snobbery, and be horrified, and wish they’d never urged virtually unregulated tech oligopolies to start meddling in the speech soup.

Now, here we are. To all those people who are flipping out and shuddering over the possibilities (CNBC: “If he owns the whole place…? The Orange man is probably going to be back!”), remember that you didn’t mind when other unaccountable tycoons started down this road. You cheered it on, in fact, and backlash from someone with different political opinions and real money was 100% predictable. This is the system you asked for. Buy the ticket, take the ride, you goofs!

What if the takeover happens, Twitter loses most of their liberal thinking users and the "woke" companies stop their advertising. Twitter is the devil but I can see most of the techies and investors hitting the streets and just have a new start up and we're back to square one with Elon holding a $43 billion albatross.

He definitely brought out the exposer of twitter to people who probably don’t pay attention, much like trump exposed how corrupt our government and institutions are
