I already have two of them - a driver’s license and a passport. The first isn’t national, and I don’t carry the second one around all the time, but big deal.

Most anyone who's gotten a new DL these last 2 years has a real ID.

I have one and it doesn't seem like a huge deal

Drivers licenses are issued by each individual state, not the Federal government.

He's never right. Our state is doing it but it goes into effect when your current license is set to expire. Mine is 2027.
