I don’t see the people creating the problem having any altruism in their intentions on dealing with the fallout. Call me cynical.

Still yet, they persist. And they're not going away. Humans will be phased out of the labor force and probably sooner rather than later. As I said, AI development outpaces Moore's Law by a lot. It doubles in capability every 3 to 6 months. Robotic advancements come along quickly as well. The world will be a much different place even 5 years from now.

It can but probably not in the way most people think

There will always be jobs, but probably not enough jobs as AI eats into more and more sectors

That said, there is a big difference in giving people enough to survive in such an economy vs giving them enough to not only survive but also feed their addictions to alcohol, porn, drugs, etc while they chase partying 24/7

I suppose one major benefit is that no one would be Judgement Proof any longer
