They are not honest. They broke the law by entering this country illegally. The only correct solution is to deport them and secure the border so that they cannot return.

Sales tax…property tax…many don’t pay income tax or SSI…if cash on the side.

No WAY our economy simply adjusts to millions of workers being deported. It would throw ice water on it and would be a terrible self inflicted wound. He may not be the brightest light bulb in the building but he’s not that dumb. I don’t think he has any intention to shoot his on foot and follow through with this.

Ppl on fricking welfare.
We need a society where people no longer have the option to simply refuse to work.

Need to be you don't work you don't eat.

Kick out illegals.
Cut social programs.

It'll work itself out.

that will screw our economy

They ran the numbers. We get about $30B in revenue from these assholes that invade our country. We spend about $180B, just at the federal level alone on these assholes that invaded our country. If they were a net positive, you wouldn't have hospitals closing in areas where they are densely located because the economy in that area would be booming and tax revenue would be up and keeping these places open.

Our nation is being invaded. There is no such thing as an 'honest hard working person' that invades another country with no regard for law, sovereignty, or the people within that nation.

We are losing hundreds of billions each year, and tens of thousands of lives, while seeing more and more erosion of citizenship and what it means to be an American and the privilege of residing in America.

Seal the entire border. Cut off all benefits. Tax the hell out of remittances. Incentivize self-deportation and forcibly deport the rest.

No entry.
No asylum.
No benefits.
No visas.
No stays.

This is an existential crisis for our nation and it's time for it to be treated as such.

The same ones doing it now.

You don't think there were illegal immigrants working farm and service/hospitality related jobs prior to 2020?

Also, Donald Trump was President for all of 2020, so if all those workers didn't come over until that year, well...

Right, well he's not going to send back all the illegals that have every come but I think the plan might be to send back most of the ones that have flooded in during Biden's presidency.

Considering we've never done any deportations I would be happy with that. But I'll also believe it when I see it.

I was watching one of my subscriptions on YouTube the other day, and Peter Santenello was interviewing this Cajun man who has a farm where he has crawfish ponds, rice, and hay, and has hired Mexicans, ALL documented where he pays for their room and board, bus ride there and back home, as well as livable wages and all fees to get them in the country LEGALLY, and Peter was questioning why with all the expenses he pays for he cannot get locals to even bail hay for him, he pointed to drugs and refusal to do hard work because of laziness. He quite literally cannot get anyone local to do the work, and he is paying quite livable wages.

This should never be an excuse why we allow people to behave illegally at OUR expense, but a reason why we need to cut people off who are healthy and just refuse to work period. It also seems to me to be a vicious self defeating circle we are in where we “must allow for illegal immigration” because we have a drug problem that makes our own citizens too lazy to work because we have illegal drugs crossing our border addicting our young people due to us not securing our own borders.

You deport and at the same time kill welfare, and suddenly you will have a hungry and willing citizen workforce.

We can do the Argentina miracle here.

Damn. Just reading this… damn.

Can Americans do this work?

Better yet, can you imagine how competitive these jobs will be when 15 million low wage, resource consuming illegals are no longer in the US?

Secure the border. Deport illegals. Overhaul the immigration system (and very likely increase immigration targets). It’s so simple but Washington doesn’t want a solution.

I’ve also thought about not deporting them (except the ones with a criminal record excluding illegal entry). In this case they could stay on with a permanent visa, would pay a fine, and would never be allowed citizenship as penance. I think it’s a very fair compromise.

Actually many of the illegals are paying social security and other taxes but will never get the benefit when they retire because they either won’t be here or if illegal are working under fake ss numbers.

It has to be multifaceted to work.

1. Secure the border
2. Round up and kick out
3. Stop government handouts to force people back to work
4. Established a streamlined vetting process for legal immigration. Stop the vermin from getting in but allow the good.
