Are you saying the "vast majority" of of people replying in this thread are saying the vaccine is working? Because the posts clearly are stating otherwise.

Will people here admit that the vaccines are working?

It doesn’t surprise me that the country is heading in the direction it is when people like you will sit here and actually argue something you have zero clue about.

One of the first things a true scientist will tell you is that it’s almost impossible to prove causality.

I don’t follow this board to know if the OP is really a democrat or not but I’m just here to say how much I detest people assuming someone is a democrat just because they wear a mask or get the vaccine. I’m a Trump guy 100%. I voted for him twice and hopefully I’ll vote for him a third time if I’m lucky enough to see Election Day 2024. I wore a mask until two weeks after receiving the vaccine in March and I chose to get it because of a significant heart issue that makes me more susceptible to it if I were to catch it. It was my decision that I made with my wife and young kids being the driving force behind it. I know there are many who would never get it and I don’t blame them really. After all it’s a brand new vaccine that they still don’t know everything about. I admit that getting it was a leap of faith for me but I felt it was in my best interest (and my family’s, too) to get it.
What I detest more than anything is people assuming I’m somehow less of a conservative because I got it. That’s fricked up and only contributes to the problem in politics in this country. We can’t bitch about people assuming we are racist simply because we are white but turn around and ridicule someone and assume they’re a democrat just because they got the vaccine. That makes us part of the problem we are wanting so desperately to fix.

quote:See the post you just made that I quoted, read the post right above yours.
I believe the topic was posted because the OP is attributing us not wanting to take the vaccine with us thinking it doesn’t work as stated/intended.
There ya go. Not sure what else you need. Need me to link more posts from just this thread with people refusing to admit the vaccine is working? Would be alot easier if you just read them for yourself instead of assuming no one said that, when this thread has quite a few people doing the exact thing you're claiming no one is doing. Again, 1 post above yours. Check it out.
quote:Welp, ok then.
I also haven’t read any of the thread.
quote:Ok, ignore parts of what I said above, you don't have to go back and read and keep a tally lol. But i'll put it this way, i did read and there are a bunch of those posts, so if you didn't read the thread, then maybe don't say no one is saying the things if you don't know...because they are saying that. Again, 1 post above yours, you only gotta read the post from that 1 dude to see it's out there.
I’m also crazy enough to tally how many people here think it doesn’t work so please don’t make me do that

If Trump was in office and telling you to get the vaccine, you guys would be the ones saying to get it and the Dems would be saying no.
Well…Trump IS encouraging people to get vaccinated.

Just shows it’s all Bs - it’s media made

Throw out the PGA and you still have entities forcing vaccines for employment or attending schools, etc.
The claim that no one is forcing vaccination is false.

quote:Of course there are. That is always the case with vaccines.
Also, people are still getting covid who were “vaccinated”
In the instance of some flu vaccines, incidence of post-exposure infection is only reduced 50%. With some of the CV19 vaccines that incidence is reduced >95% ... as was predicted in trials.

quote:Exactly. This vaccine was never going to have a 100% success rate so anyone who has the vaccine was guaranteed to not get COVID. So that poster stating that means nothing, he thinks it's proving some kind of point in his favor, but it doesn't.
Of course there are. That is always the case with vaccines.

vaccines are an unproven but suspected cause in the explosion of autism.

We all knew that...or should have known that getting the vaccine never meant you'd be guaranteed to not get COVID, so what point do you think you're making there?
