Thats the point of this exercise. To bring manufacturing back to America. Spoiled arse Americans will have to buckle up during the transition. The US will be much much better off at the end of the exercise.

You’re going to the extreme end of this situation as it pertains to domestic effects.
Yes. There will be pain, but everyone will experience it and likely more than the US. That said, we are not accustom to said pain, so, in that sense, the “lesson” may come to pass.
