What say you? I would ask for your vote if he is nominated.

No. They vote down party lines, for better or worse. They are more committed to winning than Republicans are.

Well,…..in 2020 Florida there were 5,315,954 registered Democrats and 5,218,739 registered Republicans. In 2022 there were 4,970,954 registered Democrats and 5,297,121 registered Republicans. Not only can Ron get Democrats to vote for him, he can get them to switch to Republican or Independent.

DEMs do not vote for candidates, they vote for agenda....so, NO, a DEM will not vote for Desantis.....maybe a super moderate, but prolly not.

Not 100% true. People have been moving to Florida at a 30k per month clip. Most of those people are trying to escape crappy states

I'm pretty sure he got a lot of Dem votes in Florida in 2022. So yes I think so.
But the media will try to build division and make Dems run from him, but if you give reason to vote for you, there are dems that will switch parties. Not all Dems are crazy progressives. You have to peel away a small percent of them from the Dem party and keep you base.

Yes he will any Republican nominee will. But he won’t feed into it like trump constantly does.

They did in Florida. Understand that in states with closed primaries, in a lot of local issues you can be locked out if you’re not registered with a party. NW Florida used to be overwhelmingly registered D just from sheer inertia but they didn’t vote that way in national elections.

I think some moderate Dems and Independents will. Those same people will NEVER vote for Trump, though.

It’s a easy win for DeSantis if the media does their actual job. Of course he has not announced that he will run.

You can't touch their 30% base, but a lot of people registered D aren't hard corps democrats, they just lean that way or they like voting in local elections. He already proved he can get some of their votes.

They are currently in the process of trying to make Desantis out to be worse than Trump. It has nothing to do with the person and everything to do with the party.

No, in fact, they will have a 2:1 vote:voter ratio against him
