Because Trump pardoned a man found guilty of a crime that was investigated over nothing.

He needs to explain why the Russians that were indicted were actually not guilty of anything. He brought faulty charges against the Russian firm that was later vacated by the DOJ due to awful evidence in the case.

To answer your question, the reason he is calling him before the Senate is because they're investigating the origins of the Russian Collision probe and Mueller is a material witness. He's calling him because it's his damn job.

Judge Libtard, Obama’s appointment, wants to force Trump to pardon Flynn before the election.
But this is an ignorant move. As he keeps the case open, Flynn’s team is entitled too exculpatory evidence that becomes public drip by drop. If he just dismissed it, this would stop!
He was overruled by the appeals court, and will probably not be taken up en bloc. If he is heard en bloc, he will probably be embarrassingly overruled. If successful, Flynn will appeal to SCOTUS, where he will probably be forced to dismiss.
And if by some miracle Judge Libtard is given free hand to be judge and prosecution, this will occur after the election. And even if Trump miraculously loses, he has until mid January 2021 to pardon Flynn.
Judge Libtard is dumber than a rock.
