He'd be a fool to remove this issue at this point.

Every single day Trump and his supporters complain that the investigation should go away because it is interfering with the administration getting on with working on Trump's unfinished plans.

Releasing the FISA information could emasculate the investigation.

Or, more likely, it could be that there's nothing to see about the FISA warrant and Trump can't release it because it would prove he was wrong.

Getting directly involved with the documents and data involved would probably be too risky.

If the documents show that the FBI and/or DOJ gamed the issuance of the FISA warrant to spy on Trump's campaign (as he's been alleging for more than a year), that wouldn't be risky. That would be a slam dunk for Trump.

So one minute you’re bitching about the money being wasted on the investigation then the next you’re fine waiting to the last minute to end it, for max rustle of course?

because that "would be" obstruction of justice unless and untill the SC is dissolved, for now, only mueller is the one who decides to release that or not

nice try though

This is Andrew McCarthy's Twitter Bio.

He's calling for Trump to release the FISA information. Do you think he's calling for Trump to obstruct justice?

Nice try though.

Why won't Trump fire Mueller? Why won't Trump order his DOJ to investigate the FBI's role in exonerating Hillary's email server?

The answer is "patience is a virtue" tex. All in good time. If disclosure and/or exposure of anti-Trump corruption is inevitable, far better to allow divulgence in the normal course rather than forcing it.

The only thing they want to spend money on is wasting time and ruining things for everyone else.

They don't want to pay for healthcare or education but nation-building in another country, conflict of interest military contracts, more funding to the military, and pissing off liberals are great! What a miserable existence it must be.

Trump knows that the Intel Community's ability to monitor terrorism is an essential National Security issue. He must have that power. And if Congress - just the hard core Right - finds out, they will be forced to throw and wrench in the whole Renewal of said Law. It's coming up to vote shortly; will be interesting to see how it works out.

That said, I think it's Sessions that is sitting on that hot potato; His time is limited, just like Meuller. Pressure building.

I don't think exposure of anti-Trump corruption is inevitable.

What I see is Trump and his surrogates seeding hostility towards the FBI and DOJ (and indirectly towards Mueller) partly by using the FISA warrant as evidence. It's not hard to surmise that the purpose of doing that is to provide cover for Trump's firing of Rosenstein and then having Mueller replaced.

It seems to me there is little pushback in the media against this ploy by simply asking the questions about the FISA warrant that I raised in the OP. I think more people should be asking themselves why the warrant has not been released when they digest the current team Trump rhetoric.

When it gets to the point that Mccarthy is wondering why Trump has not released it, it's time that question should be raised to the point of being a dominant national discussion.

one theory for delaying making public the application for the fisa is the fact that it is.evidence in an ongoing criminal investigation...you think if they had a smoking gun on trump it wouldnt have been used yet? if they had something that would stick, the world would know about it by now because every second he is in the white house is a second to long for those who want him gone, which is by all accounts according to the left and msm is..everybody..
