Why Was a Swastika Flag Allowed to Fly at NYU During Graduation Week?

America needs to get a firm grip on what is creeping within. I know the Jewish flag being flown continuously over Tulane Stadium during an entire commencement ceremony is disgusting, but the Swastika Flag flew during the week at NYU which, to me, is even more disgusting. Anytime a flag is flown higher than a US flag in America it is a Flag Code violation, yet no charges are ever filed.
Is this what freedom of speech is really all about? The flag at NYU even caused Mamdani consternation.

A flag featuring Nazi swastikas and a Star of David was flown on an NYU building, prompting condemnation from the university and political officials, including NYC Mayor Mamdani.

Not a real campus. its a school for kids who want to experience the city, she can do that with an internship. They sell it as "The city is your campus" and thats not the kind of experience she wants or needs.
Reputation of NYU students. Harvard will be a much better fit.
I'd rather she attend Fordham if she wanted to live in NYC, she was offered there too.

I do not know that much about that school but someone or something up there is certainly stirring. Obviously a cautionary tone is advised against attending at this time.

Understandable.

Well yeah, between the two, Harvard is the better choice.

She was offered NYU before Harvard (one day) and while she felt privileged to get the acceptance, I just feel the Harvard Campus is far more what she's looking for.
One of her best friends is going to Sarah Lawrence in the Bronx, I'm sure she will get to visit her often.

Barron demanded his parents get him out of NYU.

Professor at NYU said Barron didnt belong there. It was a good move to leave campus.
NYU students have a horrible reputation. Rich kids who want to experience Manhattan on Daddys dime, and the school is not a very warm, welcoming place.

May be a subset of them but the NYU student body I’m aware of is very Hispanic
