From the “Could Speaking Transmit Coronavirus?”
LINK
So the author just made that shite up. And the WHO made that shite up, too.

Considering that reports of asymptomatic transmission account for 50-80% of COVID-19 cases

top World Health Organization official clarified on Tuesday that scientists have not determined yet how frequently people with asymptomatic cases of Covid-19 pass the disease on to others, a day after suggesting that such spread is “very rare.”
So the author just made that shite up. And the WHO made that shite up, too.

Why did Japan contain the virus so well compared to us?
It wasn't by wearing mask

Because the mask thing is strictly political, it does absolutely nothing to prevent getting the virus.

I mean Neil Ferguson’s study is blithely cited there.
When do we hit 1.1M US deaths?
When do we hit 1.1M US deaths?

You explicitly avoided looking at any of the published papers in the links.
It's kind of funny. You argue in a way consistent with the "science" you cite. You assume that because I don't arrive at the same conclusion you do, that I didn't read what you posted. I did. I just don't agree that scientists being interviewed and referencing anecdotal evidence is the same thing as science.

You are very clearly not all ears/eyes.
And you are confused between what you want to believe and what's real.

Would you like to go back and look at the studies linked?
You mean the "science" labeled "several strands of evidence," etc? No. I've already done that, and you're simply wrong (or naive) to think it's scientific proof of anything.

No, I responded to what you addressed. You haven't made any response at all to the scientific papers I showed you.

Why not wear the mask?
Why not smear feces on your face?
Don't forget to add a nasal clip.

Again, you (purposefully) fail to recognize that models gave several predictions based on what actions we took. Models gave worst case scenarios that indicated what could happen if we took no action. Good thing we took action.
If I remember correctly, you thought that ~2500 deaths was a reasonable guess for where we would be by the end of 2020, and we have another 5 months to go. I might suggest listening more and spouting BS less.

Why would you suggest that the author made that shite up? Because someone at the WHO disagrees with them? Could you explain that thought process?

CDC still wants people to self quarantine regardless of masks because they don’t believe society can effectively wear them; therefore, they do not trust their own mask initiative.
I am struggling with those messaging choices.

Which actions, specifically, lowered the death totals that caused the models to be so far off, and how did they lower the death totals?

Actually, I have responded. I have rejected the notion that scientists being interviewed about anecdotal evidence is scientific proof that masks substantially prevent the spread of Coronavirus.
The video was particularly retarded, and it’s a riot that you think it’s proof (or even evidence) that wearing a mask prevents the spread of the virus to a substantial degree.
