This is the new narrative that folks that refuse to wear the mask are somehow “holding back” the economy. It’s just more bullshite from the left

To wear a disposable mask properly you would have to buy a ton of them and I highly doubt the reusable ones are being sanitized properly.

Absolutely. The common place thing now when exiting a building is to touch a door handle that has been touched thousands of times and then immediately touch one’s face to remove the mask. Now the masks may still be a good idea, but seems super contrary to what we were preached a couple of months ago.

What metric/baseline/data point are we hoping to reach with the mask requirement? What metric/baseline/data point signifies it is no longer necessary to wear the mask?
Or, are we supposed to endue this "minor inconvenience" in exchange for liberty until covid 19 no longer exist (which won't happen) or a vaccine is found (which may never happen)?

Masks aren't effective, all we have to do is simply wash our hands and not touch our face.
All we have to do is simply stay six feet apart and wash our hands and not touch our face. This will flatten the curve.
All we have to do is close down all non-essential businesses for a short two weeks. We must flatten the curve.
All we have to do is stay shut down for a little longer. We have to flatten the curve.
We will allow you to open certain businesses but you must stay within our guidelines or you will be fined or shut back down.
All you gotta do is simply wear a mask. Our lives all depend on it you selfish a-hole.
When do we start wearing our full body haz-mat suits?

Why not self-quarantine if you are at risk?

Last time I checked this is America where we are supposed to be free to make fundamental decisions on our own.
My guess is IF they would have said here are all the reasons to wear a mask and we encourage every to pull together the mask push back would have been much lower.
