I’m in my final years of my career. When im done, I intend to move to some place that is conservative, has four seasons, outdoor activities, needs quality healthcare and a decent airport to accommodate travel.
I don’t want to have anything to do with urban lifestyles or liberals.
Tennessee, Utah and Idaho seem to fit my needs best.

I've got 20 years left but this sounds like me. I'd prefer to live somewhere with seasons and away from a major metro, or at least far enough away where I'd only have to go there when I wanted to.

I agree. I think both sides just need to get rid and put down extremists on both sides and live peacefully with each other.
I am a conservative college student and I wish I could have lived in the times before cell phones and the internet. I feel like that’s the one thing that has really made us hate each other so much.
It’s ridiculous how people can’t get along with each other and hate each other because of our political opinions. It’s sickening. I don’t give a shite what political opinion you believe, it’s not going to make me hate on you and force myself to not speak to you because of your political opinion.
The problem is, the left has became so extreme that that’s the way I have to live my life now. The left really is a threat to the future of this country because of how radical they have become. If we were to peacefully split like the topic of this post, within a few years I would bet that the communist US would try and start a war with us because they truly believe that we are all a bunch of racist white supremicists and we need to be wiped off the face of the earth. God help us if there was a split and they had control of nuclear weapons

Hell give them the northeast, west coast, and Hawaii, give libs 30 days to pack their shite and move to one of those areas until civil war breaks out

The problem is that the left is never content with living and letting live. Back in the days of the USSR, they were committed to exporting communism and atheism. Simply setting up a communist state and leaving their neighbors alone is not part of their mindset. Which is why federalism isn't a solution to the problem either.
