SFP was the first to even halfheartedly attempt it. everything before that was just deflect, deflect, deflect.

i realize that you think you know me better than i know myself because you're annoyed that I spend a lot of time criticizing the posters here, but you don't have any idea what you're talking about.

yet another example when the right felt it was completely inappropriate and unamerican.

so again i ask, when will the right condemn Rand for doing it too?

Do you understand what hypocrisy is?

Who cares about the Dixie chicks? They broke from the opinion of their core market, and paid a price. The President of the USA can idiotically believe he can "reset" foreign policy by apologizing to our enemies and that is cool, but a sitting Senator can't rightfully critique a clusterfrick of policy by an absent President who is completely incompetent? At least someone is stating the obvious. It's called leadership.

i'm not talking about those who disagree with his policies, i'm asking where is the outrage from the right over Rand Paul criticizing the President on foreign soil?

personally i'm not bothered by what Rand did, or at least the fact that he did it outside the country. Again I'm talking about the reaction (or lacktherof in this case) from those on the right towards Rand Paul criticizing the President while on foreign soil (and with a foreign leader no less).

they were up in arms when the DC did it, they were up in arms again when Obama did it. Where are they now?

Dude, the Dixie chicks are entertainers. They took heat from their audience. Do you honestly not see the difference?

Ok I will attempt, The DC's are paid to entertain and look hot, their fanbase are/were conservative white people, so when you dis one of their own, than expect a backlash.

Rand Paul is dissing a democratic president, so why would conservative republicans have a issue with this? Plus unlike the DC's his job is politics, so it's not unusual for him to talk politics when speaking, now if he were to dis Garth Brooks during a speech, than there would be hell to pay from the DC crowd.

and also, shouldn't the fact that the Dixie Chicks are only entertainers necessitate that the backlash against Rand be exponentially worse?

Alright so it's okay when you agree with the criticism, treasonous when you don't. Got it.

This thread is more important as it highlights an incredibly dangerous law that intensifies the guilty until proven innocent culture.

Insight would be appreciated.

So you're basically admitting that the people bashing the Dixie Chicks were completely full of shite and just mad that these entertainers didn't share their views?
