The futures and spot markets set the price of oil. No doubt Trump's actions in Iran have affected supply and influenced the markets. I agree that he needs to end this Iranian fiasco asap but he can't just write an EO setting fuel prices. Saddens me when I see conservatives advocating for government price controls.

For the record we know that the thinking and skills of the labor force took a huge hit when so many opted to retire during 2020. The under 50 crowd is dumb and lazy as a rule
