When were the uprisings in Tibet? I think it happened twice. There have been a few border skirmishes with India and maybe Nepal. Vietnam when Vietnan thought they could take Cambodia. Uygher Muslims would disagree as would the Tiannamen Square student protesters. The point being the Chinese Communists will use force if they think thats what they need to do.
