The ISSUE is that Trump ... unilaterally and without any prompting ... just spit out the patently-absurd assertion that Kim knew nothing of the Warmbier situation until after the fact. Kim never said this, and it was not even responsive to the question that had been asked of Trump. Trump is just temperamentally incapable of keeping his damned mouth shut.

Hank. I know you normally are a family law guy. You ever been part of an M and A case?

Haven't you already said it was a dumb thing to say? Just like Finland and KSG

Why can't you leave it at that?

Nobody is claiming he broke laws, just that he said some weak arse shite, again

I don't understand the deflection and defensiveness

It boils down to absolute allegiance, which you seem to try and glide above, but don't, really

Trump is in possibly the most important negotiation in decades. He probably shouldn’t have commented at all on Otto. Wasn’t the best move.

Wasn't he asked this question? I mean, the MSM tries to "set up" Trump ALL the time...

Did otto not do this to himself? Serious question I don’t know the details of this saga.

School trip to China, which detoured into NK for a bit. He was accused of taking a poster (from hotel?). I don't believe that for one bit....this is NK we're talking about.

Trump is a scumbag, defending that murdering pos Kim Jong-un. It's bad enough that Trump gave Kim a gift twice by being the only U.S. president dumb enough to actually meet with the little murdering trash on the national stage, thus legitimizing him (big win for N.K.; it has wanted this for years). Trump, for some strange reason, loves him some murderous dictators. Probably because he secretly would love to be one.

The entire Trump/ Kim situation is surreal.

I give the President high marks for trying to achieve peace. However, the over the top arse kissisng and comments over Otto were not misunderstood.

Trump seems to have a bizarre fascination with murderous despots. Trump's earlier praise of Kim Jong Un a year or two ago is a matter of record. Trump's stating that he believed Kim knew nothing about the torture and murder of Otto Warmbier is nothing short of being totally disgraceful.

I'm just relieved dumbass Trump left Hanoi without agreeing to some shitty deal that would have eased sanctions on North Korea without our getting much in return besides empty promises (Trump must have listened to his advisors for once). The North Korean regime understands one thing - pressure and force. That is the ONLY thing that will make them even consider giving up their nuclear program. Trump's sweet-talking of Kim Jong Un won't do it. As it is, Trump's boyfriend in Russia is helping North Korea to cheat and circumvent the sanctions, and naturally Trump won't take Putin's dick out of his mouth long enough to condemn Russia for it.

Otto was taken under Obama and he did nothing. Liberals seem to only care when it can be used as a sword. Almost like liberals would rather a bad result in negotiations if it means they can blame trump. Sad.

There is an insidious wing of the MIC lobby that uses these types of things to torpedo peace negotiations with other countries. Their most notible achievement was the promotion of the The National League of Families (POW/MIA flag) and using it like a club to halt peace negotiations or normalization of relations with countries such as Vietnam, North Korea, Laos, etc etc etc.

Is the NLF based in what is right? Yes. But when bodies of soldiers killed years ago in a war are using as bargaining chips, generally to create unreasonable demands on 3rd world nations to locate individual soldiers from a long dead war.... That's when you cross the line into suicide bombing negotiations.

No. I just know dumb when I see it.

BTW (and this applies to all Arky posters here)...you DO know that when SHE was your First Lady, she had nothing but utter contempt and disdain for you...right? She looked down upon you as ignorant, inbred hillbillies. It’s pretty well documented.

You on the other hand have no worries because you are a trump fan.

Just come up with a thought without name calling.

Ok.

Sounds like you’re calling out the admins to me. I could RA you, but I’ll let it slide this time.

Maybe because even a dishonest self-serving
a-hole like Trump can come to the realization that his bullshite on that issue just doesn’t work.

No other one defended the Saudi's as much as Trump has done, stooping to not criticize them for an obvious cold-blooded murder of a journalist. And what the Trump regime is doing in helping the Saudis slaughter a bunch of kids in Yemen is fricking disgraceful.

Dialog skills.

Learn them and you will understand why Trump says the things he says about Kim and Putin.
