I'm not going to blame Russia for trying to partner with other countries because the US wouldn't. I'm not saying don't keep an eye on them, but they are no worse than any other country that we have gotten cozy with. If that is your philosophy, something that was going on 25-50 years ago, then why should we do business with Japan, Italy, Germany, etc? Hell they were actually aggressors to the US. One of them attacked us directly.

Putin may not be the best guy, but the people we’re up against are much worse.
So just to clarify, you're basically saying... "Putin, the dictator who assassinates his political Russian dissenters, starts wars with neighboring countries, aligns with NK, China, and other communist entities, and is entirely corrupt in every way isn't great ... but at least he's not a homo"?

Before that map Ukraine was part of the Crimean Empire, Ottoman Empire, and the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.
The people still spoke Ukrainian, but just had different masters. In 1991 the Ukrainian people finally got their Crimean Empire homeland back.

Because since their last atrocities 80 years ago, we have entered into defensive alliances with Italy and Germany, and Japan is now a much different country than it once was and has truly reinvented itself into a 1st world partner. They're all civilized and non-expansionist.
At no point has Russia proven to be worthy of "getting cozy with" for any length of time since the cold war. They've proven to be untrustworthy, often trying to influence election results every time we head to the polls.

Hasn’t stopped the US from funding and supporting dictators before.
Spare me the “Russian aggression” spill. This war was all Ukraine and the West.
I’ve no love for China or North Korea, but it’s because they oppose the globalists as well.
When it comes to fighting satanic globalists, Putin is an ally in my book.

We are pro peace. Putin wants it, Z is fighting it acting like he's bankrolling his own war.

How about this, detail the economic realities that drove Yanukovych to ultimately choose to put EU alignment on hold in 2013. Then detail the west's role in illegally overthrowing him as a democratically elected head of state. We can start there, then move to Minsk duplicity and NATO incendiaries.

Another one for Putin, but for religious reasons this time. Very cool.
Why doesn't Putin get knocked for repeatedly violating the sixth commandment, among many others?

I've read one Russia Today article in my life it was about how Scandinavia is being ruined by mass migration and feminism and my homecountry Sweden was the worst. It was a good article one you'd never read in our controled media.
Also during the scamdemic there were plenty of protests about the government overreach our media outlets pretended these didn't exist while ruptly which is owned by the Russian government ran streams all day on YT.
I'm sure there are plenty of issues in Russia but living in a gobopeadohomo country like mine we shouldn't point fingers at them.

No, almost all politicians are corrupt, but I trust some more than others, especially those who haven't been in office for 21 years and counting and haven't started wars with their neighbors.

Putin is a nasty SOB. Established. Remind us though, why did he come to power?

So, Yeltsin agreed to appoint Putin prime minister and then resign the presidency a couple of months later which meant Putin would ascend to be president in compliance with the Russian constitution.
And that’s how a former KGB agent in East Germany who found work in St. Petersburg driving a taxi after the USSR fell became President of Russia.
