NYC was a true dump in in the late 70s and early 80s. Times Square was a perv paradise. Not so anymore. Actually Manhattan is pretty nice overall.. Parts of Brooklyn still need work but even that has improved.. Philadelphia was the definition of a shithole in the late 70s.....now it has improved in that it's just merely dilapidated. Will grant you Chicago.
In the 80's Abidjan on the Ivory Coast was considered to be an up and coming place, now it is a shithole.
I'll grant you Naples,Italy, but other than the waterfront areas it has never been nice....talking going back to Roman times.
There are lots of places in the US and even Europe that are much nicer today compared to even 30 years ago.....except Berlin....it looks like a dystopian bleak landscape in most places. Budapest rocks as does Prague.

You can have any item delivered to your door.

What is worse about this time then it was 20 years ago? The 20 years before that?
The only thing that is worse it the drive to be better. Everyone wants to be in. The big house and drive the nice car, but what did you do to achieve it?
Yall are the generation of the participation trophies
Not everyone is a winner, not everyone fricks the prom queen .
Stop crying and be better. I teach my children never let anyone out work you. They may not always be the best but it will never be because of a lack of effort.
