Walls and fencing have always been part of security EVERYWHERE SECURITY IS NEEDED.
This whole wall debate is fricking stupid. Immoral? Costs too much? frick off with that bullshite.
Our government fricking sucks. Bunch of pussies and cvnts.

Ask Trump.
He's the one that's giving up nearly everything in this shite sandwich of a bill just to get a measly 55 miles of wall.
Democrats and establishment republicans just fricked him over.

Oops. After reading well informed post above, need to add some of the folks with R before their name.

We waste a lot of money on other shite that doesn’t work in this country. I’d at least like something that might physically do the job.

No Sentrius. They fricked all of us over. The wall is not worth what’s in that bill.

The elephant in the room are the NGOs. Everyone knows about the GOP and corporations wanting cheap labor and Democrats wanting votes. But no one talks about the non-governmental organizations literally making billions off of illegal immigration. This includes many "non-profits", the Catholic Church, Baptist, Methodist, Mormons, and many more. The federal government grant's these NGOs approximately $30K per immigrant legal or illegal to temporarily house, feed and process these people.
IT IS A BIG frickING PROBLEM.

Cool. The good news is we already have walls and fencing on a vast majority of the vulnerable parts of the Mexican border.

Vast majority? So not a big deal to build the wall to cover 100% of the vulnerable parts?

I wouldn't have a problem with that if a plan was brought to the table that spelled out the need in those certain areas. I only added "vast majority" to hedge my admitted ignorance on whether all vulnerable areas had some form of barrier or not.

Well, Trump said at basically every campaign stop that we needed a wall to curb illegal immigration.
Democrats refuse to vote for anything that allows Trump to accomplish his campaign goals.

Trump made it a big deal when he went from rally to rally smearing Latinos and calling for the wall as the only solution. He made it into a big symbol of antiimmigrant sentiment to where it's highly polarizing and now neither him nor you understand why half of America wants nothing to do with it? Hope he has fun running in 2020 having not delivered on the centrepiece of his campaign. Eat shite.

Problem is democrats have combined illegal immigration and legal immigration is the same thing which is complete bullshite.
The argument from Dems against the wall are so fricking stupid and dishonest. How can you take these people seriously?
Eat shite? Harsh bro, got me good.

Republicans have done the same thing. The majority of people from Central America arriving at the border are seeking asylum status, which is legal under US and international law, but they've been castigated as illegal immigrants by many on the right. The fear tactics over the caravans? They hadn't even yet arrived at the border and were not breaking any US law, yet the right used them as an argument for stopping illegal immigration.

Because walls work. Hard to reward "diversity" with amnesty if they're never able to hop our borders in the first place.

That's nice. The US isn't a 4 bedroom home in suburbia where a 6 or 8 foot fence is sufficient to keep the neighbor's dog out of your vegetable garden and prevent your neighbors from seeing your little pecker when you pee in your yard.

You mean the ones that were offered asylum in Mexico and turned it down?
You also have a plan ahead when you see something coming your way.

You're brainwashed.
