All of whom were proven to be satanists/ globalists during the Great Awakening, so what’s your point?

The RHCPs are one of the most overrated bands ever. They have like two or three songs that are decent

The hate comes because she encourages young people to vote.. she doesn’t like Trump and campaigned against the Maga Senator from Tennessee!

They complain her songs are about getting your heart broken.. Hank Williams Sr says hello

If she came out tomorrow and endorsed Trump.. they would all run out and buy her albums.

But the beauty of her is that she doesn’t need them.. they can’t do to her what they did to the Dixie Chicks.. because Taylor Swift doesn’t need country or pop radio to play her songs..

No need to get so worked up. She’s the least problematic out of all the celebrities. Who cares.

I wouldn't want any of my kids or grandchildren to use a pop icon of any kind as a role model.

That’s hilarious.. what drama and who’s a kid?

I couldn’t name a single Taylor Swift song.. but I can recognize a Cult.

I’m sorry you’re so dumb

Love it man - good on you guys! Get kids into what was important to the parents - not what Target or Disney or Twitter says is cool

If I'm not mistaken, a few people in this thread mentioned her politics as a reason for her not to be a role model. So his response does have some validity.

Those same people want to talk about positive role models in the Bible, while they worship at the alter of Trump!

I'm not sure what human beings you worship, but me and my family do not worship anyone on this Earth. Why do you think someone would want to emulate a President as a role model? I cannot think of any President going back a hundred years I would consider a role model, or tell my hypothetical son to. Maybe Reagan, but he had a few issues, as well.

As we all do, hence the "human" part of the puzzle.

Why would any father wish a fake pop existence on their kids?

Im beginning to explore the TLM (Catholic) route. The Parish I belong to and my kids go to school at is generally center-right, but the women have way too much influence on things. Hosting a Taylor Swift night is just one example.

Imagine if the Church lets women be priests.

No, she didn't just encourage young people to vote, she was specifically telling young people HOW to vote, which in her case was rabidly anti-Trump. Unfortunately, lots of her fans in Tennessee did and continue to let this influence their habits at the polls which proves the point that many of us make often - we have too many uninformed people voting as it is.

If you allow your voting decisions to be formed or confirmed by how your favorite singer/TV actor/movie star votes, you are an unserious member of our society and likely should not be voting in the first place.

It's highly unlikely that Taylor, or Beyonce, or Bad Bunny or the Rock, or Jennifer Anniston can tell you about the three branches of our government, much less something as important as the Bill of Rights, yet they'll happily tell you who you should be voting for.

(Spoiler alert - it's always who they vote for).

I didn't gather he was talking about a consensus.

Again, highly successful musician and songwriter, charitable, modest, and considered incredibly kind by most people who've actually met her...she seems to be humble and living a great life without all the stereotypical "pop star craziness".

I would wish all of those things for my daughter. If other people don't then that's fine too.

Ms Swift is the former, not the latter. People need to find better role models.

That would be Tommy Tuberville, the great Alabama Senator that lives in Florida.

He said the 3 branches are Executive, House and Senate!

I’m willing to bet Taylor knows more about the Constitution than Tubs or Trump!

The fact that she campaigned against the Senator from the state where she lives is pretty much the definition of being an American! You know, freedom of speech etc

Not to mention that Michael Jackson was literally known as "The King of Pop" and Madonna was literally known as "The Queen of Pop".

Any list of pop stars from the 80s and 90s that doesn't include them both is just stupid. And I don't even care for their music.
