You may want to look up the difference. It's kind of important.
The fact that you didn't know that a classical liberal and a modern day conservative are pretty much the same thing is telling. Speaks to your lack of knowledge.

The whole point of this thread is that Massie has made a lot of mistakes for the American people. He can vote with the DEMS to add 4 trillion, but he can't vote with GOP on policies that promote american jobs etc.
He is more libertarian globalist that plays the antagonistic role because of where he lives. The same a MTG.

Questions for you.
How many times has the debt ceiling not been raised? Give me a number.
Should the GOP require spending cuts when they do raise the debt ceiling?

Why do facts bother you liberals so much?

SDT you should be studied by scientists as some kind of freak of nature. I think you genuinely believe what you type.
BTW, nice touch in misspelling "embarrassment":)
Happy New Year. You are entertaining on here and probably a nice person in real life.

I owe you an apologies of sorts.
During the run-up to the 2024 election, we repeatedly argued over my contention that Trump’s base on this forum weren’t cultists but simply making the best of a very bad hand since in our nation’s wholly corrupted political environment, some degree of populist pushback is going to be the very best outcome we can hope to accomplish.
Yet “conservatives” such as SDV have made me realize that many Trump fan boys on this forum not only lack critical reasoning skills but are indeed kool-aid swilling cultists.

Yeah, a lot of Trump voters dont fit the mold but the core loyalists are ridiculous.

Its you that can not do a simple search on the factual differences.
Its all there for you to see if you want to see.

I actually know what I am talking about here.
You and BCreed are confusing classical liberalism with modern liberalism.
They are two entirely different things.
Classical Liberalism
Core Belief: Government is the primary threat to liberty; its role should be limited to protecting basic rights (life, liberty, property).
Freedom Type: Negative liberty (freedom from coercion by others or the state).
Economy: Laissez-faire, free markets, minimal regulation, low taxes.
Key Thinkers: John Locke, Adam Smith, David Ricardo.
Modern Connection: Influences libertarianism and some conservative economic policies.
Modern (Social) Liberalism
Core Belief: Freedom is also hindered by poverty, inequality, and lack of opportunity; the state should intervene to create a level playing field.
Freedom Type: Positive liberty (freedom to achieve potential, requiring state support like healthcare, education).
Economy: Mixed economy with social safety nets, regulation, and public services.
Key Ideas: Social justice, equality of opportunity, welfare state.
Modern Connection: Forms the basis of contemporary progressive politics in the U.S. and elsewhere.

You gotta be retarded, special ed.
Modern liberalism and classical liberalism are not the same thing. Unfortunately the MAGA cult is too stupid to realize this.
