The first amendments Does not entitle one to say whatever they want whenever they want. Clearly a threat to the president (which this was not), is not protected speech.
I also think she came much closer to crossing the line of protected speech with her tweet directed to baron.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think she's facing the proper consequences. He'll even CNN immediately fired her. Itsnunlikely she will find any meaningful work again.

It's the same black humor as having two characterized posters of Barack and Hillary for warm up targets at a 3d archery tournament. No one balked at putting one between the eyes (or worst) of either one. Nor didn't laugh at miss or hit alike. What a bunch of delicate dilettantes.

I don't know, I think something needs to be done, the left has pushed this, kill trump, oh but we were only joking narrative, so it will continue to become more prevalent and brazen until it's addressed. Take the WAPO dead or alive wanted posters for instance.

If it were a credible threat, she probably would. She will probably get a visit, or phone call from the Secret Service. They check into threats and then decide if it is credible or not. If they think it is credible, they take action. If not they warn and keep an eye out.

In my opinion what Madonna said was worse than what Griffin did. Madonna made a direct threat about wanting to blow up the White House. With Griffin, this could be viewed as art and not a direct threat of any kind.

I don't agree with you much but you're right you're right. What Kathy did was pretty much the same thing as when Game of Thrones had W's head on a pike. Tasteless? Absolutely. A real threat? Nah.
What Madonna said was a half step from being the kind of shite Anwar al-Awlaki would preach.
