Then why hide it (ie veiled criticism)?

Do you remember when Trump endorsed him?
For the 2022 senate race.

"He fights against the Swamp in Washington, the Radical Left Liberals, and especially the destructive RINOS, of which there are far too many, in Congress," Trump said in his statement. "Rand will continue to stand up for our great AMERICA FIRST policies because he believes in stopping wasteful spending, defending our Second Amendment rights, and taking care of our Military and our Vets. I am proud to be working with Rand in our battle to Make America Great Again.

Conditionally, depends if he supports something they do. Hes been called many reprehensible names by the Trumpaphiles. Funny, many MAGA supporters pretended to like Ron Paul a decade ago. Now youre against many of his positions.
Please tell me more about how I think. As I just posted, dear leader said it was ok to support him.

An enemy of my enemy is a friend of mine.
They HATE Trump and I HATE them.
The establishment wants to destroy Trump.
Trump wants to destroy the establishment.
I know which side I’m on and it isn’t the establishment.

He didnt support your trade policy. You know, like Chinamen.

Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., said Sunday that he has warned the Trump administration against leveling more tariffs against China, arguing that they will cancel out any benefits companies received from the administration’s recent tax cuts.
Hes one of those WEFGLOBALISTRINOCUCKS yall talk alot about.
According to the MAGAphiles here, Rand was a grandstander and never put forth any bills.

In rational system, you criticize your own team when they come up short with the hope that they realize the issue and improve.
So, I can't support him and criticize what I feel are his weaknesses? Or are you saying that we don't?
Many "Trump supporters" here, including myself, have been vocally critical of his missteps and gaffes. Many, including myself, have openly professed that we will vote for either him or Desantis, whoever gets the nomination.
Desantis just might have been on top right now if his campaign management hadn't seemingly deliberately tanked his image. It's been so awkward and bizarre that really it only makes sense that it was intentional... Yet Trump trudges on, in spite of his own missed opportunities and his propensity toward stepping on his own dick when he should just stand still and shut up.

This demand of unadulterated worship is a big reason those people are called cult members (b/c that's literally what cults do). This version of TDS is why Trump has gotten so shitty over the pat 3 years. He's off the rails these days.
At this point he's only a slight upgrade over Biden

A lot of it is the way 2020 went down. Its more revenge than policy. Never mind the fact Trump failed to go against those who were fighting him in his own Admin. Also many support just to vote against him in the general.

According to you, MAGAphiles would never challenge Trump and see him as their cult leader. According to Trumps public address supporting Rand in 2022, he should be supported. So….
Why is it so unpopular to say you are tired of Trump? It’s not. He’s an arse, everyone is aware of this. What’s unpopular is assuming every person that supports him is brain dead, and then say ridiculous, conflicting, bullshite on a constant basis.

No. I haven't lost my fastball like Trump has. He is too scared to even debate these days.
This would be like Alabama agreeing to play Florida State next week to “prove” that they belong.
Saban, unlike yourself, isn’t a dumbass, and would never agree to such stupidity.
Neither would (or should) Trump.

Trump isn't perfect and has many flaws. Regardless, I think he is the candidate with the best chance of winning and will stand for the things I believe in.
The vile attempts to remove him by Dems & Rinos says it all.

Why did so many turn from an attitude of grass roots free thinking tear down the establishment frick the uniparty types to Trump loyalists who rabidly defend him without question and attack anyone who tries to even discuss his positions, short comings, or possible issues?
Maybe because the NeverTrumpers have constantly promoted/spread narratives that have turned out to be factually false.

But there is another side to this. Never in the history of the United States has the DOJ unleashed itself in a way so as to criminalize political opposition. Never has the DOJ coordinated cases with criminal and civil state actions. Never in history has a state changed civil law to enable targeting of one man simply because of politics. Were the weight of those actions brought down on anyone but a billionaire, they would be crushing. The fact Trump can withstand them is a Godsend.
Nonetheless, if anyone but Trump wins, so does a politicized DOJ reigning down on any future targets. If they can get Trump, they can get anyone. So when you go after Trump or his supporters, just keep the lawfare angle in the back of your mind.
Is that really the result you want?

Did you pay attention when Trump was president:
On July 27, 2018, he told Sean Hannity of Fox News: “We have $21 trillion in debt. When this [the 2017 tax cut] really kicks in, we’ll start paying off that debt like it’s water.”
Trump said he could pay down the national debt, then about $19 trillion, “over a period of eight years” by renegotiating trade deals and spurring economic growth.
Trump’s tax cuts, especially the sharp reduction in the corporate tax rate to 21% from 35%, took a big bite out of federal revenue. The CBO estimated in 2018 that the tax cut would increase deficits by about $1.9 trillion over 11 years.
In fiscal 2019, they netted about $71 billion, up about $36 billion from President Barack Obama’s last year in office. But although $36 billion is a lot of money, it’s less than 1/750th of the national debt. That $36 billion could have covered a bit more than three weeks of interest on the national debt — that is, had Trump not unilaterally decided to send a chunk of the tariff revenue to farmers affected by his trade wars. Businesses that struggled as a result of the tariffs also paid fewer taxes, offsetting some of the increased tariff revenue
