Why have Gowdy and Nunez turned on the Republican Party?

They attended a 2-hour meeting with Christopher Wray and Sparkling Rod. Wray sat in the corner stroking his penis and Rod put on a strip tease show.

The theory is that Dems are trying to make a deal. They drop Russian Collusion if Republicans drop spygate. That’s what I’m gathering from conservative talking heads.

Problem for them is, Trump has to agree to this.
He should get a repeal of Obamacare (with Schmuck Schumer as a co-sponsor) along with a whole lot of goodies for this (like, some retirements)

Agreed, however, I don’t see what Gowdy has to gain from doing this. He is retiring. It is really confusing why he went down this road without even seeing the information. Any thoughts?

What if Gowdy has been talked into taking the AG job after the midterms? He would need to garner a few bipartisan votes to show independence. Maybe he’s playing chess while everyone else is still playing checkers.

This makes no sense unless Trump is guilty of collusion. Which he isn’t. Why would the Repubs fold a winning hand?????

My guess is that either nobody got to see anything or it was so disturbing that they realized they are fricked and the best course of action was to keep their mouth shut so the media would drop it.
You can bet your arse if there was anything that implicated Trump it would have been leaked by now.

Well, I don't know about Nunez.
Gowdy has been a clear spotlight ranger since 2014. He's essentially a spineless toad who enjoys the attention.
