Embrace of PostModernism being driven by White Guilt/Western Civ Guilt.
This Western Civ Guilt is felt by those reaping the benefits of decades of progress, living atop the global pyramid without any struggle to earn this position.
To alleviate this guilt, they try to change the system that is causing these guilts, but only as far as it would not threaten their position/wealth.
They join "causes".

Foreign intervention at massive scales within Western governments and influential non-government agencies.
A general lack of respect for the willingness of non Western governments to destroy the west.

Is this a problem for Capitalism specifically, or just wealthy societies in general?
Like, hypothetically, let's say the World's superpower today relied on slave labor for their wealth. Would they be immune to this sort of degradation despite being wealthy because this problem is unique to capitalism?
If not, it seems unfair to lay this problem at the feet of capitalism specifically.

Western culture here out west declined when everyone started wearing those stupid square-toed cowboy boots and those painted on jeans with bling or glitter back pockets.
