Sure, she was in Trump's corner during the impeachment, but so were other Republican congressmen who have been more in line with our president.

Is just because she has tits? If tits are the criteria, why not Lauren Boebert? She better aligns with my values and Trump supporters' values.

Instead, we're going to get this

I like her she's fearless and has a mind of her own. I do trust her over 80% of the GOP

1. She’s paid her dues.
2. She’s done grassroots campaigning for other members of Congress.
3. (I think most significantly) she’s committed to voting law reform and getting to the bottom of 2020 Election problem.

Because she voted along with Trump less than Cheney and rubes will easily just buy anything?

Because a freshman in leadership is really unlikely to ever happen. She's still figuring out where her office is. I'm not a huge Stefanik fan, but she is vocal, Intelligent, Politically savvy, NY (R), who has the support of Trump.

Tell that to the rubes who want basically MTG or nothing in that position.

Because New York. It's been weakened.

Seriously, this line of thought is why patriotic Americans are weaker than their antagonists in politics.

Get a play book.
Study the play book.
Practice the plays.
Run the plays.
Win the championship.

Because she is white trash and you don’t put freshmen in leadership just because they’re trailer park hot

I would take Stefanik to Chili’s.

I would take Boebert to Lone Star Steakhouse.

She's also more moderate than Liz Cheney and voted against Trump more often than the aforementioned Congresswoman. Would it be so difficult to circumvent seniority and put a REAL conservative in a position of leadership within the House of Representatives? I like Trump, but the man is as vain as hell. All it takes is for you to say nice things about the man and he will support you 100%. Stefanik knows this and is using it to further her career. Once she has the position she will start ignoring MAGA and his supporters. Just you watch.

I have a friend in her district ( were both Ex-Air Force) says he's attended her Town Hall and claimed she's legit. Give her a chance

Im with you. New Yorkers have too much influence as it is. She simply wont be sufficiently aligned with the vast majority of the base to be a "national" conservative voice.

While you have a valid point, one could argue Giuliani was a respectable NY politician at one time... And Trump himself-- until quite recently-- was a New Yorker.

That, and once you get an hour or so outside of NYC, much of the rest of the state is substantially more aligned to Republican values. Her stomping grounds are a good bit north of NYC and Albany if I'm not mistaken.

Elise Stefanik voted against Trump’s tax cuts, for example. So, yes, you’re right she’s not walked the straight Trumpian line. That said- she’s not using her platform as the alleged Republican Messenger in Congress- alienating 90 percent of Republican Voters in favor of the “principled stance” of hating Trump. How is hating someone a principled stance.

Cheney is completely irrational. And a warmonger. She has no business in party leadership. She can vote her conscience all she wants, but her “principled stance” of hating Trump bc she’s getting positive feedback from Mitt Romney and other Uniparty is subjective, short sighted and in no way shape or form good for the Republican Party.

Trump himself isn't some ultra conservative himself really, so agreeing with him about everything doesn't really make you the "most conservative."

I also think she represents her constituency, and is not a bought-and-paid-for war monger. I don't agree with all of her votes, but she's not my representative. I don't need a goose-stepper when it comes to foreign policy, I'd rather avoid it.
