The middle class stands the best chance to live autonomous.
Brandon said he would mow us down with F-16s and the left cheered

Understand the left hates normal, successful people. They’re made up of a bunch of white progressive losers who were bullied when they grew up and minorities who think the reason they aren’t successful is because the white man holds them down.
They are not content being separate from us because they know it will make us happy and that we will still exist out there somewhere making money and being happy with our families.
They want to either change us or control us into a pure miserable existence or eliminate us if that fails.
They are terrible at enterprise and they see those of us who own land, homes, small businesses as ones with all the power. They are incapable of attaining those things so they infiltrate all the government institutions and seek to destroy it all and put it in government control or the hands of a few liberal billionaires that side with their cause in a public-private partnership. They want to control where we live, what we eat, what we drive, and where we work

quote:No, they would obviously have that choice - as should each one of us if our current governance in our current state is not to our liking
You propose that 140 million people move to a new state than the one they currently live in?
The problem becomes if someone so inclined as to go out-of-control-statist-marxist violent
which I disagree with - and is a major reason for the SPLIT, the Divorce into workable ways
Peacefulness rules - and there should be many people who will not want to treat fellow American with violence.
Freedom
The governance being forced on a majority of Americans currently dictates the necessity of such a choice
This country and its trifling little borders will not last forever; hopefully free Americans will

Go ahead and outline your geographic plan for this divorce.
Without that, everything else is just word salad. Nothing else matters unless and until you can draw lines.
Show me your smaller, poorer, weaker, and yet still politically divided successor states.

it would work itself out
a bigger problem may possibly be violent people who want to justify their violence

It's very simple. They want to control you and your issue into perpetuity.
They feel they're losing grip on the narrative as a regular joe voter. They know their format has been measured, weighed, and found utterly wanting.

No. No, it wouldn't.
Not when 47% of Texas voted for Biden. Or when 48% of Florida voted for Biden. Or when Georgia is 50/50.
And good luck with your new country without California, Texas, Florida or New York.

When? You refused ad nauseum in your own thread on the subject. Link it. It should not be hard to reproduce or describe.

quote:100M?? What?
Because over 100,000,000 people can all just up and move.
If 100M need to move, people need to damn well analyse the impact of their current votes.

Yes, there are over 100M people that live in states where they are a different political ideology than the majority of the state.
That's kind of the beauty of the USA.

Make it one million then. The point remains. Basing the viability of a “national divorce” on the presumption that huge amounts of people can just up and leave their homes to move elsewhere is total nonsense.
Huge amounts of people moving would be the only way to accomplish what these “national divorce” fantasies ostensibly are seeking—smaller but more politically and culturally homogenous entities. Tons of people across the nation would have to move to make that a reality.
Otherwise we’d just be stuck with smaller, poorer, weaker nations that all have the same general political, cultural, and economic breakdown as the current US does. Why anyone would trade the current nation for a handful of smaller ones that all have 40%+ political minorities (both red and blue areas), I have absolutely no idea.
It would solve nothing, and accomplish nothing. Beyond making everything even more expensive of course.

Because they need working republicans to provide taxes.

it was in my thread
it would work out like every time it has been peacefully approached
The USA and its trifling borders will not last - we may as well have self determination - NOT THEFT OF THE GOVERNMENT
No one has to 'up and leave' unless they want to.
commenting to morons against my better judgement

Oh good. Then you can easily link or copy it here. Or just give me a page number.
I asked multiple times in that thread and you stalwartly refused, so I’m glad you finally came around and interested to see your idea.

How about using that $1,000,000,000,000 allocated for a reckless military budget for something useful?
