Dude, Texas is doing pretty dMn good right now under the current regime. Why frick with the money? Because it always comes down to money. In the end you have a bunch of quasi educated types living in Central Texas who live their lives dissatisfied...always gonna bitch how their liberties are being run over, bitching about how some asswipe at Twitter isn't letting them be heard....or now they are obsessed because some television star who is at best a moderate player in NY property development did not become president.
This all sounds pretty ridiculous

True colors shining through. fricking leftists put on a charade when it's convenient. "I'm being responsible and wearing my mask". Yet when people just want to be left alone, you want to pick up on what was done 150 years ago with acts of aggression.

If Texas some how miraculously pulls off the split and the fed gets hostile and attacks.. all hell breaks loose across the south. Then you get CWII electric boogaloo

At least they wont be able to blame the next one on slavery.

because they get wet from telling other people how to live

“Left alone” is not a problem, lots of Texans are douche bags so no issue.
But you want no ties with the US, so that’s going to cost hundreds of billions.

The loss of loan guarantees would be enough for many to rethink this stupid proposal.
Something tells me the Bass family would have a huge problem with this.

Because I'm anti-secession? What kind of f*cked up conversation is this?
You make some interesting leaps in your train of thought, there, Champ. Wrong, but interesting. Show me where I made any judgements about being pro or anti-secession. I made comments about those that are net drains on the economy, which leads to those who produce getting bent that Washington DC just pisses their tax dollars away. The rest you made up in your head.
Have a great day.

The fed wouldn't have to attack.
20,000,000 Texans.
130,000,000 Mexicans.
You know who else remembers the Alamo?

As if to think the world is set to only go in the current direction.
How do you know if Texas, or any other state, makes decisions that benefit that state on its own accord, that they cannot excel to being a state that reflects the values of it's people?
However, I believe if Texas does make headway for secession, the next state to step forward will be the break in the dam.

It is inevitable that the USA will change.
Completely.
People, the ones due to howling only when their mistaken preconceptions are challenged, lack discernment on a highly problematic scale
Elections have consequences.
Integrity, decency, and honesty levels also have consequences... as do the severe lack of those. They are not just words.

You would think they would be happy to be separated from us redneck knuckle draggers, clinging to our Bibles and assault rifles. We would honestly be happy to break away from the left under almost any circumstances. We want nothing to do with their demonic culture and values. You would think they would want to separate from us as well?
I don’t get triggered, and I think many hate you as much as you hate them. I think it’s a fascinating idea, but nobody ever has a plan. It’s just loud mouthed people spewing crap to rile up their base. Let’s have some serious discussions rather than dog whistling. I think people would listen, but people need to see a realistic path.

So what's your plan when the Supreme Court denies Texas secession?
Since you have a plan and all.

Why are you always so snarky?
I’m happy to have a discussion; but your perpetual, low-grade sarcasm tells me you’re not truly interested in hearing a perspective different from yours.

The fed wouldn't have to attack.
I dont. There is no reason at all for that
The USA would be even more of an international pariah. It does however fit the marxist violence thing that was so prevalent in their belligerent response this morning to being caught running their Censorship Industrial Complex.
Leftists have cheated and turned their country into shite - it is time for Americans to be free from their insane violence obsessed views in turning into the Soviet Union of the Bolsheviks, another reason need to reestablish the REAL United States.
There is no reason for it - and I do not think that you are going to get a good response from military personnel attacking their own families
