I agree none of these people are journalists, hence the quotes

Nice try. Find something from a traditionally reputable source.

Exactly. But this is evolving to mean “protest”. And “protest” is being used as shorthand for peacefully assemble. Seems like a recipe for problems to me.

Do it. Something Robin Masters would use to get his leftist marching orders from.

That tweet stands uncorrected to this day.

So where do they say it's their First Amendment right to burn down a courthouse and attack law enforcement?

It’s not rebellion if it’s lawful. Thanks for agreeing with me though. Although you might not be bright enough to realize you just did.

You're quite simple.
quote:
re·bel·lion
noun
an act of violent or open resistance to an established government or ruler.

Lol. I’m actually doing the opposite. What I suggested was returning to the exact words they wrote.
OK, so we are going to play that game? Then we have to shut down the Air Force immediately because they specifically said army and navy.

the right of the people peaceably to assemble

They have the right to peacefully protest. They do not have the right to riot and destroy property or attack people

Your question was who think violent riots equal peaceful protests. I said “journalists” and was of course correct.
For your new question. If they describe violent riots as intense peaceful protests , and peaceful protests are protected under the first amendment (even those intensely peaceful from my understanding), what conclusion would one come to other than these “journalists” believe these intensely peaceful protests are an expression of first amendment rights?.
Chris Cuomo at cnn explicitly stated he didn’t believe the constitution required protests to be peaceful, and he still works there.

You equated rebellion to protest. Rebellion you just defined as being opposed to established government. The 1st A is established government, ergo ‘protest’, by your definition cannot be a part of the 1a.
Congrats, you played yourself.

Why do rightist filth say things that are so stupid?
I'm guessing rightist filth's constitution copies are as filthy as their soul.
Rightist filths are funny, I mean y'all are so angry over every petty thing I don't get mad when I read whatever addition to your never ending list of grievances you have, it's just good for a chuckle.

Sure, in response to a point meant to support the premise of this thread.
And of course, there's no correlation there.

They didn't do that.
They said "after a peaceful protest intensified."

Well, I did say traditionally credible.
He's never been considered credible, even by those on his "side."

You did that on your own.
I provided a quote from a somewhat important figure in the establishment of our country.
