I think if you are a voter in these states who took a chance on Trump, it highly likely you are not a fan of the status quo. Biden is status quo, and Trump hasn't done anything short of deliver for the rust belt and at sectors. These voters haven't flipped. New registrations don't seem to favor dems as much as they'd hoped, and Biden's enthusiasm levels are low, indicating he won't drive massive new turnout.
It's hard to imagine he's able to win but who really knows?

They usually swing to the incumbent. They wait to learn what the challenger has to offer. If they are "undecided" at this point in the game, it's because they have not seen anything from the challenger to convince them to start a new course.
The Trump effect is unique to this election though in that "swing voters" are largely comprised of people scared to admit they are Trump voters due to the violence, harassment and cancellations of those admitting to being Trump supporters.

Because there is no legitimate reason to vote for Biden. He doesn't have much of a platform. What he does have is, "I am going to raise your taxes, make it harder to save for retirement, and get rid of oil. "
His only redeeming quality is he is not Trump. Swing voters tend to be objective. Is not Trump > better policy? No, it isn't. So the swing voters hold their noses and go with Trump.

All have Soros DAs. The cities are also seeing an uptick in crime and murders.
