Why do you need an AR-15, an assault weapon.

Explain.

Define assault weapon first. Also include precisely what it is about an AR-15 that makes it inherently more dangerous than other less "scary looking" weapons that hold similar amounts of ammunition and fire the exact same rounds.

Define why I have to prove a "need" for it first.

Why did Rosa Parks need to ride in the front of the bus?

I don't. Luckily, my rights are not predicated on my needs.

Not an " assault" weapon. No such thing. Bs term made up by MSM. And to answer tour question, because i want one.

An AR-15 is a semi automatic rifle that is no more or less harmful than a handgun. And before you go along with the magazine capacity argument, they make those for handguns too.

It used to be out of necessity to hunt and shoot at the range.

Now it's to rustle sweat jimmies.

Can I have a Remington 1187?

ETA: Newsflash OP, anything used to assault someone with is an assault weapon. Assault is a verb, not a noun.

So you would ban every single weapon that is semi automatic?

I know thats what you typed I just want to make absolute certain thats what you mean.

ETA: Do you understand how stupid that is?

Nick Cruz shot 17 people with it. I do believe that there should be some restrictions with AR-15s.

I'm a strong Second Amendment supporter, but what is the need for an AR-15?

It's a bill of rights, not a bill of needs.
