I resent that I am a slave to the little hummingbirds outside my window. They demand that I keep their feeders full, and I obey.

There is a ton of "shade" bigotry and hate in the black community. The whole 1 drop rule is only used to divide anyone with a black ancestor from the rest of civilization. Inside the black community, many browns hate blacks and visa versa. It is bad human nature. Same in India, South America, the rest of the world. People pick stupid skin color stuff to divide over.

It is simple. It is simplistic. It is shallow.

I have a Korean friend who basically stopped association with a group of friends after we teased him about his daughter marrying a white hill billy.

We didn't mean for it to be hurtful, but yeah, I guess that wasn't well accepted.

I have a serious question. One that virtually nobody ever wants to address. But why do we think that no matter where you go in the world darker skin is viewed negatively? Even among groups of people that are generally dark-skinned themselves

This is a reality literally around the globe and it has been since before the invention of mass media.

Everybody always likes to default just something easy like because racism. But racism doesn't just fall out of the sky.

If we bumped into a similar phenomenon around the world in Enon politically inflammatory area a human behavior there would be serious study about how this Behavior came into being in the first place.

Part of it is an issue of class. Dark skin = outdoors = working class. It’s not an accident that European royalty used to use white makeup to make themselves even paler.

I don't think blacks are resentful about slavery. This is what black leadership USES to steer its political agenda.

I think the everyday pissed off black person carries some things with them that causes the resentment.

Chief among them -

-the Pygmalion effect
-being a minority carries an inherent inferiority complex
-culture driving less than desirable outcomes that impede success
-victim mentality/excuse making
-seeing other minorities succeed while black lag behind as a whole

this resentment aint about the civil war,man

I agree with all of the above. The Civil War and slavery have become a convenient dog whistle for the left to roll out when facts contradict their illogical narratives.

I’d also add groupthink to your list of causes. Most of the crime and BLM violence comes out of those living in densely packed homogeneous urban areas...a distinct SUB-culture that does not affect the entirety of the blacks in America.

So if you do not vote how they tell you to vote, you lose your racial identity.

You stand to lose more than that. Try $350,000 in reparations. That comment was a threat.

Go along or see where YOUR application for reparations money winds up.

I think some is jealousy about how others look and how we would want to look. Some is just eye of the beholder and our view of beauty and ugly.

A lot is just that we are wired to be attracted to those who look similar to us.

Same with animal kingdom with various species of horses, birds, etc.

Because the behavior of the vast majority of the black demographic indicates such brainwashing.
